Next Day Automation specializes in dismantling proprietary manufacturing lines and reselling the components on our website nextdayautomation.com. We have thousands of items for sale, many of which are either new or have seen very few hours of operation. We pride ourselves on the value we bring to our suppliers as well as the value we bring to our customers. Have a machine down? Most of our items are available for next day air shipping and will arrive at your facility.
History
Established in 2014.
In 2004 David started a small eBay store with the purpose of selling new and used surplus automation parts.
In 2006 the machine shop portion of the business was sold, and D&S focus became building automation lines and selling industrial automation surplus.
In August of 2011, David sold the business to Christian Svensgaard and retired to his farm in northern Minnesota.
In 2012 the company had outgrown its 6,000 square feet space in Osseo and moved to a 15,000 square feet industrial building in Maple Grove. We established a 2,000 square feet walk-in store to service our local customers. We established a shop, testing and listing area and space for our more than 25,000 parts.
In the Fall of 2014 D&S Machined Products renamed the business to Next Day Automation reflecting what the business is about.
Today we still have our eBay store and we have our new e-commerce store NextDayAutomation.com.
