This review is specifically relating to the massages I’ve received from Allison at the Life Spa.
I’ve been to Allison twice now, and she’s absolutely incredible! She listens to everything I ask for, and truly creates a one-​of-​a-​kind experience for my body’s specific needs. With all my requests being tailored to, I leave completely revitalized and relaxed. I absolutely intend on continuing my massage therapy sessions with Allison!

Got a great deal on a massage ($ 25/​hr) when I enrolled as a member of LifeTime Fitness. This salon/​spa is located right in the front of the LifeTime Fitness Club in Maple Grove, but I don’t think you need to be a member to use the salon or spa here.
Upon arriving, the receptionist greeted me warmly, offered me water & gave me a few quick forms to fill out. Then I was escorted downstairs to the treatment room where I met my massage therapist, Elisa. She didn’t look over the forms I handed her, but just asked me briefly where I wanted the focus of the massage to be. She had a soothing energy, but the consultation felt a little brief. The massage itself was nice, relaxing, but it didn’t blow me away. I probably should’ve asked for more pressure, so I don’t hold her fully responsible. If you are looking for a relaxation massage as opposed to deep tissue or a massage that will work out your knots & tension, I would recommend her wholeheartedly. The treatment rooms are lovely, the bed, sheets & blankets are luxurious & there seems to be some aromatherapy element as well. The music was also very calming.
I look forward to taking advantage of the LifeSpa again in the future, both for massage & for the skincare services they offer.
