Clean ‘n’ Press

First time at this place. It was close to where I work so decided why not since it’s convenient. Took a new dress that has been worn only twice (church and event) in to get dry cleaned and it came back looking like it’s been worn multiple times with patches of ruined thread. At first I thought it was the fabric, but quickly realized that it’s not the fabric as it seems to happen in patches. Must have gotten caught on something while dry cleaning? Didn’t notice at the store since I was in a hurry to get to work. The clip at the top of the zipper was also ruined. I guess I paid money just to ruin a good and expensive piece of clothing that I love. Won’t do business again as I would worry about future damaged clothing if brought in.

We’ve been getting our comforter cleaned here annually and have never had any complaints. I love how they package it up after every cleaning, and I also like their pre-​pay discounts. Given the amount of business they have inside, they seem to be doing very well. I do just wish they would give the store a makeover.

Despite the inhuman conditions they expose their employees to, this place is fantastic. It’s Africa hot in this joint… flies buzzing around baby’s eyes, etc. Yeah, it’s hot like that.
When they went from Start Bright (which my wife erroneously referred to as, «Star Bright» for years), they jacked up the prices a little bit. However, the service is great and the quality of the work is high.
