Honest and dependable… These are the two descriptions that I always use when talking about Joe and referring people to his business for car repairs. I’ve been using Mantua Amoco for about 15 years. I used to live in the neighborhood directly behind his business, and he’s who all of the people in the neighborhood use. Pretty impressive. The service is fast and done correctly. The rates are better than most mechanics around. An appointment is needed, but its well worth making and dropping your car off to be repaired.

We have a place in Woodbury that I have previously reviewed who are great for oil changes & brakes etc. But they are not the best for major repairs. Incredibly slow if it’s not something routine.
Today I dropped off my car because I heard weird noises from the back while highway driving. Left said car there at 11:30 & heard back from the owner Joe just hours later with an estimate for a bad bearing. They even said it could be ready tonight if I needed it.
Good stuff. Call ahead for an appointment if possible though because they can get busy.
