My hairdresser is Olivia Guevara.
I had my hair completely overhauled by Olivia and what an excellent job! She highlighted, cut, color, deep conditioned, waxed eyebrows, chin — the works! She was professional, patient and very personable. I would definitely recommend Olivia at Sonia’s Salon to anyone who resides in the Central Valley! Thank you Olivia and I’ll be back soon!

I got a cut and high blonde bayalage/​ombré by Olivia. I was recommended by a family member and they assured me she was really good especially with color (I am very picky with regards to my hair). I don’t really like to write reviews until going to that person at least twice before writing a review, but I have to say that she did an amazing job and payed attention to detail. I have never left the salon feeling how I felt when she did my hair. I have been looking for a hair stylist for a while and now I have finally found one. She did exactly what I asked for and more. She made recommendations and also explained what she was doing as she moved along (I don’t expect this all the time but since it was my first time going to her this was a plus). I cannot emphasize how much I like her, I am surprised she doesn’t have more reviews on here. If your new to the area and you are looking for a good quality hair cut or dye I recommend trying this Salon — also prices are very reasonable.

Sonia’s is a nice clean salon. I travel here from San Jose to have her color my hair because she does an excellent job. She originally started doing my daughters Keratin treatment and it has helped her grow her hair out because her hair is really curly. So we both come together and she will do my hair as well.
Sonia has been doing hair for years and is very good with her hands and color.
I would recommend it to anyone!

Corine at Sonia’s Beauty Salon is an awesome sylist. I have been having her wash, cut and sytle my hair and my daughter’s for years now. She is a very detail oriented stylist and I like that. I have never had a bad haircut from her and I have been coming to this salon since it opened.

I’m surprised this place hasn’t gotten any reviews because it’s probably the best salon in Manteca. It’s kind of hard to spot. It’s on main street, but the salon sign is not very visible unless you’re purposely looking for it. I think this is a converted house into a salon.
My grandmother has been going here for years and loves how Sonia always does an excellent job. The place is very clean and modern. Sonia is very professional and takes time doing her work. My grandmother always comes for a cut and color… sometimes a perm. Rather than just feeding different services for profit, she gives advice on what she thinks should be done. My grandmother wanted a perm, but Sonia said to come back a week later to get it done since she recently colored it.
I went her myself once or twice to get a hair cut. I don’t remember who cut my hair, but it wasn’t Sonia herself. She did a good job. I only wanted a trim and to keep my layers. She washed my hair, cut it, then blow dryed it. To get it styled was an extra $ 10, but I didn’t really need my hair styled, so I opted out of that. I’m sure they do a great job at styling anyway.
Anywho, overall great experience each time I go here. Definitely recommended!
