I’ve to this place a few times but this time was the worst ever. First we had to wait for about 30 minute to order and get our food. We got there at 7:45 and they ran out of chow mein at first they said they needed to cut more vegetables and it would take 20 minutes. 20 minutes later they said they can’t make any more because they ran out of vegetables. There were about 6 employees working 2 were cooking and only one filled the orders and cashier in the restaurant. it seemed like the others were working the drive through but apparently not since this irate women came in screaming at them to move the drive thru. apparently she was in the drive thru so long that she wanted to leave but couldn’t get out. The food was average but the service was the worst i’ve ever experienced. won’t be going back!

I sure felt violated tonight. I ordered two of the premium dishes tonight. Ones that they add $ 1.25 on top of the normal cost of the dish. One was the walnut prawns They put it in a little container. 2 inch x 2.25×2.25 approximately. I decided to look inside before I left. They choose the walnut shrimp for the little box. I look to find it about half full. I take it back to the server. Tell him. You can’t put any more in that box. He tells me no. It is 7 shrimp. That is it. I should have given it back to him and told them to take it off my bill. Ridiculous how small the sermon is what it is considered one of the dishes you pay a premium price in addition. It should at least fill up the little tiny box in my option. Seems that every time I add one of the premium dishes I am sm disappointed. Either by the flavor. Or by the amount they add. I have to keep reminding myself. Don’t fall for their hype and the looks of the dish in the pan. But proved it again. The value falls far short when adding one of their so called premium dishes.

They really really need a new employee to take drive thru orders, you can’t understand that lady at all, she has no patience and gets orders incorrect. Good was good tho

Waited in the drive-thru for over 30 minutes. Then got up to pay and the girl tells us to please pull into one of the stalls to wait for our food. Waited for 15 more minutes. Then sent my daughter inside to find out where the food was. She was standing in a line when I went in to see what was taking her so long. At the end of it all I waited a hour for food that was not very good. The rice and chow main were cold by the time we got home. Our meal came to $ 61.00. Not coming back. Too bad we at one time loved Panda.

So I’ve been going to this location for years there’s a few people that work there that know me there. But tonight I went in and there was a huge line and only one cashier so I’m waiting and I’m next to pay for my food she goes over looks at my food grabs the next order and goes about checking these guys out instead of me I don’t know if she thought something was missing or what but I’m standing here and she looks right past me and starts to check the next people out so the other girl notices I’m standing there waiting to be rung out so she asks where mine was I said its right there right where the other girl left it. So I usually won’t name names but since the other person helped me out and she didn’t the cashier that wouldn’t acknowledge me her name was Sheree thanks panda

I decided to try out this location as opposed to the one on Daniels Street. I was very disappointed when I came home and opened my box honey walnut shrimp… Come on! They already charge the ‘premium’ price, at least fill up the box! Needless to say my meal started on a low point =/ I guess I must ass that the box of chowmein was nicely served. I soon as I figure out how to upload the picture here I will show you the box of food.

Worst panda express ever. Do disappointed. Couldn’t understand woman in drive thru. Rice was old and clumpy. No flavor and burnt. The beef and broccoli was soupy… Why? Eww. And then they didn’t have any sweet and sour? What kind of game are you running people? Pull your heads out!!! Fail! Sticking to the one off airport and Daniels from now on. They do panda right!

If you open at 10:30 food should be ready at 10:30. We came in at 11 and really nothing was ready except for a few items.

Pretty sure we chose panda drive through because we were in a hurry. Not because we wanted to wait in line for 25 minutes after we ordered. With no explanation as to why we waited so long. Fail.

Disgusting. Their food is not fresh at all, If you ask for fresh food the manager will get mad. She literally got mad and started yelling through out the whole place. It was just sad, Never coming back here again.

I love Panda Express but this location is lacking. Super slow service and it’s messy inside. Also, if you order to dine-in at this Panda Express you’ll just get ripped off. The amount of chow mein and rice is literally half of what you would get than if you order to-go. Went here for dinner last night and said we were dining in. The girl started our plates and then walked away. When another lady came to us I asked her to use a to-go container and she literally added 2 more scoops of everything. What the heck? Next time we’re going to drive across town to the other location.

If I could give this fast food restaurant a lower score I would. I just recently moved to Manteca and am discovering all of my options to eat at. I decided to try Panda Express tonight and was HIGHLY disappointed. I ordered my items at 9:37 P. M which I understand is not a typical time to eat, but when you work in the food industry you understand why you have late comers. I ordered a big plate which comes with two entrees and one side. I decided to go with what I always get back where I am from; orange chicken and broccoli beef with a side of chow mein. I then decided to step out of my comfort zone and try a small side of their Kung Pao Chicken. After waiting in the drive thru for more than 15 minutes I was handed my food. When I got home I was astonished at how unappetizing my food looked. I started with the chow mein which was dry as could be. I searched in my bag for some soy sauce to make it come alive again but they didn’t put any in my bag so I moved onto the orange chicken which was dry too! There was no sauce on my chicken and it was so tough it tasted almost like the container it was in. I then went for the broccoli beef and searched for the BEEF. NOTONEPIECEONBEEFWASFOUND. Kung Pow chicken was stringy with nothing but fat. I’m disgusted and wasted 10 dollars on a meal I did not eat. Obviously they don’t care about late night customers and therefor I will not be back. I do not recommend what so ever.

Where do I start. The thing I like about Panda is the food is consistent. However this Panda needs some help. First, the place was a mess. The floors, tables and bathrooms were disgusting. There were no supplies(soap, seat covers, etc…) in the bathrooms… and there were no cup covers and very few forks… etc in the silver wear area. The service was slow. They misunderstood order after order and they were out of nearly everything. We had to wait for half our order(never pleasant but especially uncool when you are traveling with hungry children) and then they forgot to bring it out to us when it WAS finally ready. The same thing was happening to others around us. My advice… don’t stop! Keep driving to the next Panda on the freeway.

Went in on 3−22−15; came in at 9 o clock which is 2 hours before they close at 11. The trays were empty and they were not making anymore food. They had a new rib entrée featured all over the restaurant but the tray it was suppose to be in was already washed and cleaned. We had to pick from the scraps of food that they had left over in whatever dishes were out, which we had about 5 choice to choose from. We ended up getting teriyaki chicken, one of the trays that actually had food in it & they had NO sauce to go with it. We asked them to make sauce and the cook was very irritated that he had to do his job. Of course I want sauce for my chicken and I find it ridiculous that they didn’t have any prepared when they had chicken still in the tray. They told us the sauce would be ready in 8 minutes. After waiting for 10 minutes I got up to ask about it because I seen that the cook was off cleaning something rather than making our sauce. He ended up forgetting he put the sauce to cook and almost burned it. I used to come here often and it was always great but lately it’s horrible! All these people care about is cleaning up two hours before closing and being lazy. There’s never any food prepared anymore & even the last time I went in One hour before closing the girl working told me that the scraps of food that looked like they had been sitting there for quite a while was«all we have and were not making anymore.» Service is horrible. They keep old food and refuse to make it fresh because they want to go home. I will not be coming back to this panda anymore.

Broccoli had a very stale taste as though it was old. And the chow mein was dry… not what I would expect from panda.

Wish there was a 0 star feature. Whenever we go they never have anything ready. One manager gave a free food voucher because of the 45 minute wait only to have to wait another 45 minutes on our next order to use the voucher because they had run out of teriyaki chicken and chow mein. Second manager was rude when accepting voucher. Food is not worth any waiting much less continual 45 minute waits. Last time we ever go here!!!

Good place to eat if it’s late and no time to cook. Kids love it and plenty of food to go around. Fresh and good prices. Will be back again. Floors were a bit sticky. Could be cleaner… but plenty of seating available.

I was shocked that this place was as good as it was. I was a little skeptical a «fast» food type place, more so from a DRIVETHRU would be anything more than eatable. We have lived in Manteca for almost 10 years now and though slowly we’ve acquired what the«city folk» have closer to the bay(Costco, Red Robin…) I was unable to find decent chinese food and was having it imported from Uncle Yus in Livermore or San Ramon. The husband brought it home for me one night and I’ve had it at least twice a week since. Of course it will not replace my favorite chinese place… but unless Uncle Yus opens up out here this will do just fine.

3STRIKESYOUROUT!!! I am officially done coming to this #PandaExpress in Manteca. In my 3 visits spreaded out(days and time) and this location seems to never have food options becuz they have one but not another and I’m talking about 3 or more empty trays with no food. My last visit 8 – 17 was the last straw. No chow mein so guy frm drive thru brought his chow mein which was old and tasted heated to me from a lamp or microwave. Then no fried rice to top it all. I got orange chicken and there were no terayaki chkn, no mushroom chkn, broccoli w/o beef. Finally teriyaki comes out. When we got our meal complete it was cold rice nasty chow mein cold orange chicken and the teriyaki was the freshest thing I got since it had just came out. What makes me upset the most is me and my partner counted 11 employees not 1 not 2 not 3 but 11 and no food to serve the long line. 2 of the employee one being a manager(blue shirt) was there chatting away with an employee while no food is on the trays. In the 30 – 45 mins we were there he never once check to see if everything is alright. On the 3 different occasions I have experience nothing good from this location. Panda Express has never failed me except this location. My tip will be try the food one may be fresh and the other stale or cold or taste of reheat. I rarely write reviews unless its worth writing or it sucked major @$$… To top it off one of the employees that was talking to mgr says to me how was the meal and walked away without hearing my response. What was the point of asking if your going to walk away frm me. What it was is she heard our dissatisfaction comments but obviously didn’t care but for herself to look like she was concern about our food and mgr didn’t look so she continues walking. THISPLACEDOESN’T DESERVE A 1 star rating. I have a choice and that is not to come here again !!!
