Very high prices for the food. I ordered prime rib it was Saturday at 3pm I was the only one in the restaurant. The meat was old and dry the vegetables where soggy frozen from a bag the salad was lettuce only and was charged $ 7.00 so I paid $ 40.00 for a bad piece of meat frozen vegetables and lettuce salad.

Four of us ate there on a Sunday evening. We were the only ones in there, but who cares. I’ve been reading some of the reviews on here and the people that gave them bad reviews must be a bunch of snobs. It was a GREAT place, and the food was fantastic. Yes, it was a bit slow, but if you’re in a hurry DON’T GOOUTTOEAT!!! Yes, it was a bit pricey, but if you want chain restaurant food, then be my guest. Or better yet, maybe you should just go thru the drive thru at McDonalds. All four of us loved the place. If your in a hurry don’t go! If your cheap don’t go! If you like good food and friendly people and don’t care about spending money for that good food, I would recommend Finley’s!

2 glasses of wine, 2 salads, appetizer plate. 60 bucks. Salads bad. Service mediocre. Not worth the trip.

I had the best time! I was driving OTR for Crete Carriers at the time. I saw this place. The owners of the establishment are quite friendly and treat you well… The food and drinks are spectacular… All & all, a damn good time… Look them up when you are in town… you won’t be sorry!

Cute place but the food is lousy. There were six of us and no one was happy. It’s over priced for what you get. It’s a sad situation.

I ate here once and the vibe I got when I stepped in was old racists. This place looks like someone’s house and they try to fancy it up with some white table cloth and wine glasses. That way they can charge you more for the fancy decorations. I had a steak and pasta and my steak looked like it sat in the fridge with no cover and the edges of the steak were dried up and old. Eat here and you just may get food poisoning.

A buddy of mine and I were out doing stuff, tractor supply, Costco, Boot Barn – just kinda guy stuff. We were hungry, and he asked if I would like a great burger. Sure, thinking I know every back road burger house within 20 miles. Was not prepared for Finley’s. Middle of no where,(like where I live) we pull in, and I am thinking hummmm We ordered, place was very cool, my kind of low keyed place-not pretentious. Burgers came and WOW, DELICIOUS, I was impressed, and will now Finleys will be on my list of places to eat. Dinner menu looked good, and if the food is as good as the lunches it will make your day. Enjoy!

Terrible. You’ve been warned. Everything, and I mean everything is dusty with cobwebs. Décor is outdated and confusing. We were the only people in the place on a Friday night. Were the only people there during our stay. The food was, terrible. Pasta and a burger. Gnats were everywhere! The tables are fold-up tables with sheets on them. Seriously? So, let’s summarize: Dusty, cobwebs, ugly, disgusting food, bugs, and fold-up tables. BEWARE — RUN — DON’T GO

We have been back several times this year, always good. Had the rib eye Saturday, excellent! Fast friendly service. Great romantic place. This is not San Fran!

Went back last summer and boy was I disappointed. Prices had gone up, as indicated on the menu in black sharpie. I don’t mind shelling out for good food, but dinner was pretty bad. The waiter also seemed to be the cook. After we ordered dinner, chicken caesar for hubby and chicken dijon for me, the waiter went back to the kitchen and we started hearing microwave sounds. Bad times. Our meals came out pretty quickly. The caesar salad was topped with HOT chicken, and the lettuce was wilting. My chicken dijon had a glutinous sauce atop it. The chicken in both dishes was sliced, cottony dry, and oddly uniform in shape. It appeared to be prepackaged and heated at the last minute. And the prices were HIGH! I wish I remembered exactly what we paid. We might go back, but only for bar snacks and beer. The beer was still good…

will NOT go back. The quality of their food does NOT measure up to price of their food. As soon as you open the menu… you will notice. WRITTEN in black marker on the top. that the lunch menu prices, are increased by $ 1, and the dinner menu prices are increased by $ 4. WOW. I had the chicken dijon… it was more like the rotiserri chkn you buy at save mart… and it was pretty much left overs that were stored in the fridge for a day or 2. had some pieces that were literally hard. we were the only ones in there… you can tell that its not a busy place cause the table next to us, had a spider web from the window to the table… I will say. that Debra. is a nice lady… and it is a cute little place… but as far as the food. my advice… go out for pizza instead… i have read some of the reviews. and trust me… those 5 stars. are from people who are friends or family.

Went to Finley’s for a private party. There were 22 of us with 20 of us sharing the bill at a cost of $ 37.00/plate(including children under 12) We had one 8 year old and one 4 year old being charged adult prices. The meal was chicken Alfredo, a couple of small pieces of toasted garlic bread, a three bean salad mixed with some head lettuce that had turned brown, ice tea on the tables and coffee or tea with a small piece of cake for dessert. The chicken Alfredo was heavy on the Alfredo light on the chicken. Our party was too big to all fit in one room so some of us were seated outside of the room in the bar area. It was a beautiful weather day and the seating could have been set up outside so we all could be together. Very disappointing from food to set up to say the least. Compared to Sweetwater Music Hall where we ate last night… I had Petrole Sole(3 decent sized pieces) w tartar sauce, roasted potatoes, garlic & olive oil green beans and my husband had steak, mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. Our bill totaled $ 31.00! Beers were extra at the bar. :) My favorite part of Finley’s was the outdoor bathroom. Beautiful design on the floor. Unless you’re into interior decorating and want to see that bathroom keep on moving down the road.

Awful food… My husband and I went to this place after passing by many times. We thought that it would be an interesting place to eat. We went around 5pm, the only person in there was probably the owner. We sat and asked for cokes as drinks. The sodas tasted like if they were open forever no gas and way too water down. I like fish so I wanted to order The Hawaiian Mahi Mahi, but the waiter(also the owner) told me that he did not have Mahi Mahi, nor salmon, tilapia, or anything else on the fish menu but catfish. Disappointed of it I ended up asking for the Chicken Dijor. My husband order the Smoked Sirloin Steak. When we finished ordering, the waiter/owner was also the cook. At that point we were kind of regretting going there, but we had the hope that he was just a very gifted man lol… Well we were wrong =S… As for my entrée, Chicken Dijor, was served with red skin potatoes and vegetables(carrots and green beans) the potatoes were fine, but you cannot missed with those they taste good however you cook them. As for the vegetables they were spoiled. I only tasted a piece of carrot OMG I almost threw up. For some reason, idk why, I did not say anything, I just keep eating the rest of my food. Well now that I’m writing this review I regret so bad not saying anything. Oh my… The sauce of the chicken was under cook. I could still tasted the alcohol of the white wine of the sauce, and the mushrooms were raw. As for my husband’s entrée, Smoked Sirloin Steak, the steak was not smoked and tasteless. It was over cooked, and it was so hard that he had a hard time trying to cut it. As for the side dishes, he had the same as I did, and as me his veggies were also spoiled. We asked for our check as soon as we eat whatever was eatable. We paid $ 60.00 of course we did not leave any tip. As soon as we got out of the place we laugh and took it as an experience of where not to go in the future lol. PS. The only good thing of this place is that at the wall were I sat it was an article from the Manteca’s newspaper saying that it was haunted… Well if you are into the paranormal.

Working at the nearby airport, I thought I would check out their lunch as we’re have company coming to visit soon & it’s looks cute from outside~ SO many things wrong at this place — First the good stuff; it’s very cute & quaint. Now the rest: the grounds are pretty & I asked to look outside-The Owner/manager person-took me outside, introduced me to a cat sitting on one of the tables and then walked into the bathroom leaving me to wonder where to go — the rest of the gardens were chained off! I went back in and waited for the Lunch Special — I was told thin sliced roast beef on warm bread with a bed of shrimp & rice salad. It took some time, no problem, I’ll wait for good food, {although I had to ask for an Iced Tea refill even though I was the only customer !)} Sandwich came out on Cold-White Wonder Bread with mayo & mustard(I don’t care for mayo or mustard and would have mentioned had I known that was on it) — The shrimp were small and tasted canned, the rice was either under cooked or really old and I had several crunchy bites. I decided to just take the meat(for my dogs) and not complain, but the woman asked me if it was OK — so, I told her the condition of the rice(you could see the hard pieces I put aside on the plate) — then she went in the back & took a bite and told me it was ‘fine’- { There was no comment, or asking, if «can I get you something else or anything”-nothing — like I did something wrong!) Then when she gave me the bill, she said maybe I or one or two hard pieces of rice– Gross– Then I paid $ 17.25 for the Worst Lunch I have ever had– even if it had been free(at $ 17 certainly not free!) this was really bad! So sad– the place has been around awhile(I guess the bar does well) — and it is so cute — Also — No cell phone signs on All the tables — but the owner was on her phone texting and it keep ringing back — I thought that was a bit hypocritical– Hopefully they’ll read this and fix their service, pricing and food. I’d love to have a nice neighborhood grill to go to — but until things change — this isn’t it :(

With business at the nearby Stockton Airport, I decided to forego the usual fast food for a nicer lunch. I settled on nearby Finley’s after glancing at a few reviews. I came in at 11:30, and am pretty sure I was the first customer of the day. The restaurant was meticulously clean, and the staff was just standing around. I think they were surprised to see me. There was no music and their large bar TV was on mute, making the place eerily quiet. The bar is quaint with nine seats, a small nearby dining area, and a large dining room that they probably convert for banquets. Everything looked very classy, clean, and«old tyme». The variety of unique chandeliers was impressive. They have a decent menu with a good range of choices, but I immediately noticed the high prices that other reviewers have noted. I opted for the pastrami sandwich, $ 11, and iced tea for $ 2.50. A little high, but I was optimistic. It was one of the less expensive items on the menu, with some entrees as high as $ 25. My lunch quickly arrived, and the portion was average sized — not huge, not puny. The sandwich came with a stack of fires that had a very yummy garlic/chive coating. This, I loved. It also came with a small cup of chili, topped with grated cheese. The chili, unfortunately, was lukewarm and had no taste, no seasoning, no spices. When I ordered the pastrami, I asked if anything would be on the sandwich and was assured that it was only the pastrami and cheese. Unfortunately, I found thick pickle slices among the ample cheese and average stack of pastrami. The pastrami was high in fat content, and completely unseasoned like the chili. And because there was no music or TV, I found myself very self-conscious as I chewed. The staff was nice, but didn’t go out of their way for a $ 15 meal. Because it was slow, the waitress sat at the bar and watched the silent TV while I ate — kind of weird. As more people came in, she became busy. My iced tea was refilled multiple times without waiting very long. At $ 15 on the check, I can’t say I see the value. If the pastrami were lean and seasoned, and the chili a little better, then I’d be a big fan. I hope their more expensive entrees aren’t an even bigger disappointment. I don’t think I’ll be recommending this place.
