Cool little spot in downtown Mansfield. Went for dinner with an old friend from college. The place was basically empty at 5pm on a Sunday. I didn’t try the beer, only the food. I ordered the Salmon and my friend ordered the Meatloaf. It looked amazing and were perfectly portioned for the price. My Salmon had great flavor and I really liked the sauce. The menu didn’t have an overwhelming amount of options, but the food was of a different variety. Options from burgers and salads, tofu, steak and even pumpkin raviolis. Sadly, I originally ordered the pumpkin ravioli, it turned out it wasn’t available. Bummer. This is an excellent spot for the area. Really a 5-star based on any local recommendations or options, but a 3 – 4 compared to other breweries I’ve been to. The food was pricey but, of a much higher quality then you’d find anywhere else… so it’s worth it in the end.

Honestly, I had no clue about the level of beer this place makes. A friend who is going to open his own brewery soon took me to their 5th anniversary with a limited release of a barrel aged expresso stout. It’s damn near the perfect balance of flavored. I can’t really put into words how great my experience was. Had a fresh pretzel dipped in beer cheese(why not?). Staff was nice too, very chill. Jarred and Ashley know what they’re doing and I will visit as often as possible given my 45 minute commute. Top notch.

The pumpkin ravioli was 86’ed, so I tried my backup, the($ 18) meatloaf. The presentation was excellent — a gravy moat! Grass fed local beef and smokey bacon. I wish it had a lingering spicy flavor to tie it all together, but it was great as is. This is a tasty dish and the spinach on top was super fresh. If I’m in the area again, it’s a must-stop! There is a scotch ale with my name on it(no drinking tonight).

Excellent selection of crafted brews… superb menu of artistically presented entrees, sandwiches, and appetizers. Knowledgeable and incredibly friendly servers, who are committed to the customer. Totally worth the drive, and we will be back! What a fabulous edition to the community!!! — at Yorkholo Brewing Company

I try and stop in every time I’m in Mansfield, they make very good beer and have an awesome menu. I hear trivia gets pretty crazy! I do enjoy beer, a lot of different styles and variations. Most recently I had their Mountaineer IPA. It was very crisp and had citrus throughout, it finished with the hoppy bitterness that I’ve come to love. It was a very well rounded brew and worth stopping in for. They usually have around 10 on draft and sometimes they do a limited bottle release, definitely worth getting if they have it available! Awesome place with great beers and food!

Let’s start by saying Mansfield is lacking in the restaurant selection department. Landed on this one via Unilocaling. I would dare say ½ of the restaurants I was looking at were in this block of Main St. Pros: I will give them points for nice atmosphere and décor — Narrow venue with a bar and exposed brick walls. Strung lights adorn the ceiling. Chalkboards line up over the bar announcing the beer selections. This appears to be the happenin’ place for the college crowd. It was nicely packed with a good energy level. Service was adequate. We were patient enough to expect it to take a bit due to the large crowd and large party at a few tables near us. No problem. Cons: The food was just ok or less. They try to advertise that they’re all about local fare but to do that they should really get the cook/chef to execute the plan. Our wings were overdone and sitting in ½ inch of oily goo. Not really my thing. The hummus was decent. The side salad was a side salad. Not much to say. Not a beer drinker so can’t say anything about them.

Good beer and food! Stopped in after teaching a class in Wellsboro, recommended by a local LEO. Really enjoyed the vanilla porter with the ribs, great service, a true micro brewery! Got two growlers to go, Yorktoberfest and Raisin Hell pumpkin Raisin. I will enjoy those at a later date! Looking forward to coming back and trying the next interesting selection of craft beers!

Opened in 2011. This place is a great addition to the county. Definately for the palate that enjoys savory and not typical American food. Everything on the menu has a twist and meat is brought in from local well known farm. The beer is brewed on site. They offer beer flights if you want to try them all! I’m not a fan of microbeer, but the locals and visitors love it! Great atmosphere and always look forward to going back. Hummus and chips are amazing… and addictive. I miss the 5th Gen wine though…

My second time in. This time I’m in for the mountaineer baked kale salad paired with a cherry sour lambic. Sour beer is not my favorite but this one is the best I have had this far. Nice Job Yorkholo! Keep up the great work!

I could not believe my luck with finding this microbrewery in the small town of Mansfield when I was in the area for a race weekend at the PA Grand Canyon. Not only did I find it, but I had a great afternoon visit! As usual, I opted for a flight to sample as many of their brews as possible. In this case, there was no skimping with eight, 5 oz samples. The long, line of glasses the bartender placed in front of me was a thing of beauty, as the photo hopefully illustrates. Also, as usual, the darker the beer, the happier I was and a nice variety and selection of styles overall. I also decided to try a half dozen of their mild wings, which was a great choice since they were perfectly deep-fried and lathered in plenty of buffalo sauce. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked them and even considered ordering a second batch. I didn’t, but I wanted to. Mansfield, consider yourself a darn lucky town to have a great place like this as part of your downtown!

There were some not so good signs at first: it was less than crowded on a Friday night; our server was less than great(maybe just a bad night for her? She was very nice, though); ordered the special(cod) and they were out, then the house balsamic vinaigrette with my salad and they were out… But it got WAY better from there. I ordered the salmon, which was quite good(chief complaint was actually that the entrée was too much food), but my wife got a burger, which was absolutely fantastic. Wisely, she got it fairly plain, allowing it to really stand out. From the great fresh bun to the light goat cheese to the perfectly cooked patty, every bite was heaven. All of the beers were good(I wouldn’t mind the Chamomile Saison every night before bed) but the Farmhouse Style IPA was the one. There’s no way I’ll ever be within an hour of this place without stopping in for a burger and brew.

Passing through this part of PA for the first time, we count ourselves very lucky to have found this very good little restaurant/bar. It is very unassuming from the street, but Mansfield is pretty much the one street and Unilocal reviewers had liked it so we went in. And had a delicious pub food meal and some great beer, pleasantly served. I would definitely return and recommend it.

This place has an awesome menu, a lot of different brews, and fantastic service except the main man and my husband can’t draw circles(LOL)…a definite must if you’re in Mansfield, PA or driving through(right off Route 6 and 15).

I was very surprised to find this type of place located in Mansfield, PA. Great beer selection that is all brewed in house and a lot of variety on the menu which all seemed to use very fresh and even some local ingredients. The staff was all very friendly and eager to give suggestions and samples. Really cool environment, only craft beers so it really limits the crowd. If you’re looking for a Coors Light and bar food go somewhere else, if you want some delicious craft beer and fresh quality dishes this is your place! I highly recommend it.

I wish I still lived in Mansfield, just so I can keep going here. I’ve enjoyed all their beers, but the Vanilla Porter was always my favorite. Their grilled wings are tremendous! Trivia nights were always a blast!

I stopped by here over the summer with my wife for dinner. We were staying in Mansfield for the evening and looking for someplace to eat whenever Yorkholo surprised us. I started out the evening with a sampler of 8 beers which was good especially for the price. Then my wife and I split the pretzel appetizer which was also pretty good but a bit overpriced for what you got. Still we loved dipping the pretzels into the mustard sauce. Finally for my entrée I went with the non-traditional meatloaf. It consisted of a meatloaf made with grass fed beef over top of mashed potatoes and topped with cheese and bacon. Whenever it came out the meatloaf looked humongous. It tasted pretty good too as it was moist and not dry at all and I especially enjoyed the cheese bacon topping. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. For me the beer is the main draw but I was pretty pleased with the food as well!

I’ve eaten here half a dozen times while traveling and each time was just as amazing as the last. It is a very cool place with a great atmosphere. The service is excellent. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. They are knowledgable about the menu and the beer. I love the beer here and it seems to be constantly rotating. Flights are available to sample the lot. Hard cider and wine are also available if beer isn’t your thing. The food is fantastic. Everything comes from a local source. Some items might seem a little off the wall but they are all worth trying. As long as I continue to travel Mansfield I will continue to frequent Yorkholo.

This place was a surprise all around! We were driving by the area, got hungry and consulted Unilocal of course. They were very friendly to our under 10 year old and there were other kids there too. They have a children’s menu and high chairs for younger kids. The staff is friendly. The most surprising thing was the quality of the food. We all really enjoyed our meals. We had a burger, Vietnamese pork salad and wings. The wings were lightly breaded which helped make them crispy. The greens are all local and hydroponically grown. The beef is grass fed. It did take a little while to get the food, but it was worth the wait. Unfortunately, the beers were just ok.
