The Countertop Connection

I am in the process of remodeling my kitchen and decided on a particular Quartz countertop. I called around for quotes and decided to go with the Countertop Connection. Gloria was very professional and helpful and talked me through the whole process making recommendations and giving me ideas. They also quoted me the best price and the quickest turn around time. I am expecting a baby at the end of this month and was anxious to get installed ASAP. Jack came out to do the template on A Friday and came back to complete the install 10 days later! He was also very helpful and made suggestions on what would look good in my kitchen. The installation went smoothly and I am in love with my new Quartz countertops! I would recommend them to anyone. They really care about their customers and do a great job.

BEWARE. Completely unprofessional and rude. I spent a lot of time researching countertop and this was my second choice due to my first choice being so booked that it would take 3 – 4 weeks. When I called up Countertop Connection they quoted a much more reasonable 2 week wait. However, as soon as the guy showed up he took a quick look at my kitchen and said he didn’t want to do the project and just walked out without any explanation!
If this company hires incompetent novices who refuse to do a relatively simple job, then no telling what the actual end result would have been. I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

We researched like crazy when looking to redo our kitchen. After several weeks of research we decided on these guys. Let me back up first — before we selected them, we had them come to our home. Gloria showed up with a briefcase full of samples so we could see what they would look like in our kitchen. I liked that she was able to give us a price estimate at that point (which, it turns out was exactly how much we ended up paying in the end, i.e. no bogus estimates which increased after the fact. which in our case turned out to be pretty amazing b/​c the job actually took longer and involved more work than they had initially estimated it for). After the initial ‘consult’, I still went around to several places including Lowe’s, Home Depot, an interior designer, another person who was recommended to me via a co-worker…all didn’t ‘fit’. We kept coming back to Gloria and The Countertop Connection. So in they came and did the kitchen in one day! This was a new countertop and tiled backsplash… all in one day! It was pretty amazing. Professional and very very good work. Gloria is excellent at being there for her clients, i.e. you can call her from the Home Depot (like I did) while looking for tiles, and asking her opinion about them. Just the fact that she is a phone call away, gives excellent suggestions and opinions, etc. PLUS the fact that their rates are at or below what the local chain stores have, makes their business a pretty compelling proposition in the countertop business landscape. We have had the countertops in now for about a month and love them. We get compliments on our kitchen all the time, what a difference from how the kitchen looked before! I should also say that I was pushing them to come in and do the install on an earlier date, and they accommodated my request even though that meant incurring hassles on their end. These guys are definitely what I would consider a ‘find’.

This past summer, my husband and I decided to redo our kitchen. We brought in three different guys for estimates. The first guy got lost on the way to our house, showed up late, and didn’t really seem to know what he was talking about — although he did quote us the lowest price. The second guy showed up on time, was very professional, brought his coworker who would be helping out and gave us a quote and time table that we thought was fair. The third guy we thought would do a great job, but was definitely way over-​priced. We went with the second guy, Jack from the Countertop Connection. He gave us advice on what would look best and was very easy to work with. He said that he could get the job done in a matter of days, but to give him a week just in case he needed the extra day. The job entailed: new quartz countertop, new sink and faucet, new back splash (with a diagonal design and special design over the oven), new floor tiles (including laying down something under the tile to even out the floor and make it a good surface), and installing some of our appliances. He and his coworker always showed up on time, were professional and courteous, cleaned up after themselves each day, and ACTUALLY FINISHED A DAY EARLY!!! We are so pleased with their job, we recommend them to any one who is redoing countertops or related items. Our kitchen is absolutely stunning now and we get many, many complements on it now thanks to Jack! I should also say that my husband was the one to set up the appointments and start date, the women he dealt with Gloria was very polite and helpful and will give you a quote over the phone.
