We specialize in Automotive Performance from bolts on to complete forced induction installations. We also do tune-​ups, general repair work, motor swaps and engine rebuilds.

History

Established in 2007.

The Scarab Beetle was symbol for rebirth back in Ancient Egypt. When I started the business I wanted a name to symbolize who I was. I been bringing cars back from the dead all my life as well pushing them to their limits… So naturally Scarab Performance was a perfect fit for me.

At age 22 I was the lead tech doing advanced studies on plastics. I had my own lab, set my own hours and this is where I learned to be my own boss at an early age. I left there and started working for a Japanese company as a Sr. Technical Engineer. My job was to build test equipment, write work instructions, design tools and oversee the production lines for improved process flow. About a year before I left to start my own business, I had worked for them for 11 years but realized that I could not continue to work in the corporate box anymore. I was terrible at kissing ass and I grew sick of people that could not think from themselves. So many times I watched the wrong decisions being made because people were afraid speak up because they might lose there jobs. I would rather struggle and work hard each day putting my faith in God that all the sacrifices I have made will pay off in the end.
