History

Established in 2011.

Protoetch began by using our lasered part marking techniques to help industrial clients add part numbers and barcodes to stainless steel components. Realizing the wide range of uses we quickly began exploring the creative side of laser engraving with custom LED signs, promotional products and personalized gifts.

Business Owner

Shane H. has extensive background experience with 2D/​3D CAD design, manufacturing, quality and machining. Originally from Takoma Park MD, Shane moved to the Austin TX area in 1998. Since then he has worked closely with many high tech manufactruing companies and offers indepth understanding of quality on time product.
