My Trash Guys

I previously had town pickup and switched to MTG when it was time to renew. MTG provided me with a 96 gallon trash cart (larger than the town’s 65 gallon) and I use my own recycling barrels. My service includes weekly curbside pickup of both trash and single stream recycling. I am permitted 2 recycling containers of ANY size. (Town service includes a 96 gallon recycling cart that is emptied every other week) No special bags, no overflowing recycling bins and I am supporting a locally owned small business. Overall, I pay less than $ 100 more per year than I would with town pickup. For me and my family, it’s worth it. We don’t have to pay nearly $ 400 up front for a whole year of service — MTG bills monthly, quarterly or annually. There are no overpriced special bags to purchase.
Communication from Annette has always been prompt and courteous. Although I’m embarrassed to say I don’t know the name of the man who empties our barrels weekly, I do know that the one time I saw him he was pleasant and politely asked if service was going well for us. Our barrels have always been emptied, without stray trash being left around.
Overall I have been very pleased with our experience with MTG and have made it a point to get the word out to anyone looking for private curbside pickup.
