Established in 1997.

Messenger Associates opened in 1997 as a business partner of DBM (Drake Beam Morin), one of the world’s top outplacement companies. We have since broadened into a general career management services and work on selected strategic HR projects as well.

Meet the Business Owner

Anne M.

Business Owner

A recognized career strategist, Anne Messenger founded Messenger Associates in 1997. Once a marketing VP at DBM, a world leader in career services, she also managed Lockheed Martin outplacement centers and headed a career development design team for 2200 employees in its Syracuse division.

A Wellesley College graduate, Anne sits on CenterState CEO, HealtheConnections and St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center Council of Advisors. She is Chapter Chair of two Syracuse chapters and a Platinum chapter of the Women Presidents’ Organization. She is a winner of the CNY Business Journal’s 2002 Women in Business Award, Syracuse University’s 2005 Ann Michel Distinguished Entrepreneur Award for Small Business and 2008 Community Entrepreneurial Leadership Award, the SBA’s 2009 Woman in Business Champion of the Year Award (Syracuse) and the Women Who Mean Business Award, CNY Chapter of American Red Cross, 2010. She was the 2013 Chair of the Go Red for Women Syracuse campaign.
