Ever since the son took over from his dad he runs this place with 0 customer service. Today was the absolute last straw. I had a broken propane tank for my grill. Not only did he blame my 84 year old dad for breaking it — he charged him 40 bucks for a new one. That’s beyond petty. And absolute piss poor customer service. 40 bucks to replace their tank and they blame an 84 ur old on a cane? It would have been the best customer service to swap our a full tank that works for a full tank that doesn’t — instead if stealing an 84 yr olds full tank of gas & charging him 40 bucks for another one. That simple gesture could get a customer for life. What was the cost to them? They had his full tank of propane that he couldn’t use bc the valve was tight. What was the cost? Nothing. Now they took his petty 40 bucks and his gas to re sell to someone else. Stealing from the elderly? To make a lousy 2 twenty bills? And the owners response was classic«I can’t give you a free tank of gas». Really. What about the full tank my dad returned? Do not go. Drive to any other hardware store. One return and you’ll be sorry Don’t go here. Avoid it. At all cost!

I love this place for their service. I often have to go in with the kids and inevitably have something I need help finding, understanding and carrying. The people who work here ALWAYS are helpful. They carry the big stuff to my car without being asked and when I was pregnant, they carried it all, even though it wasn’t big. Also, big bonus, their prices are pretty close to the big box stores. Pricing and Service– AWESOME!

Great store for location and you can always get a knowledgeable person to lend a hand. The big box stores are 20 mins away and take 15 mins to get something very simple. The staff know we’re everything is and they pack a great deal in a store of this size. I have been there at least 20 times in the last 18 months.
