History

Established in 1986.

Rooms and Rest was started under the name of Minnesota Warehouse Furniture in 1986 by the Scheman brothers. The name of the business was changed in 2008 to better identify with the business. In its early years the word warehouse described us perfectly. If you would walk into any of our stores in the beginning you would see concrete floors and furniture stacked on end. Our stores are now full line beautifully decorated furniture stores with design services available. While still keeping with the warehouse mentality we are now able to offer you much more stylish choices, at the same low prices our earliest customers have come to expect.

My daily goal at Rooms and Rest is to provide you with a wonderful and complete shopping experience. I will make sure that our sales staff sells honestly and that we can provide you with incredible values. I place alot of responsibilities on our customer service department to get it right the first time. I also feel a strong desire to be a responsible corporate member, and employer.
