History

Established in 1952.

Earl Piepho purchased three trucks and in 1952 started Piepho Moving & Storage in Albert Lea, MN. The movers at Piepho quickly developed a reputation as a company with unrivaled customer service.

Piepho Moving & Storage expanded to Rochester, MN in 1970; Mankato, MN in 1975; La Crosse, WI in 1981; and Eagan, MN in 1986, and is an agent of Allied Van Lines with worldwide reach. Two of Earl’s sons, Larry and Jeff, own and manage the moving, warehousing, storage, and logistics business that makes up Piepho Moving & Storage. Two generations of the Piepho family are currently involved in the company.

Today Piepho Moving & Storage has:

Mark Piepho has been a part of Piepho Moving & Storage for over 25 years and is now the General Manager and Sales Manager in Mankato, MN. Mark and his team will make sure you receive the best in customer service for your move or relocation.

As an Allied Van Lines agent, Piepho Moving & Storage can reach far beyond Mankato to make your move — local or long distance — a great experience. Mark Piepho and his team will make sure you’ll get a highly professional move at a very reasonable price.

Mark is married to Shirley and has two children, Marcus and Elizabeth. Mark also serves as a Blue Earth County Commissioner.
