Our Specialties are made from scratch baked goods and soups. We make cookies, breads, pastries, cakes, muffins, bars and candies all in store with no preservatives for the freshest product. Our soups are made right in store top to bottom starting with our stocks and hand cut vegetables. We also make Hummus and a variety of Gluten Free products such as muffins, cookies and breads. Our bakery items are expanding every week with new products hitting the shelves almost daily. Also we specialize in knowledgeable staff and great customer service
History
Established in 2014.
Friesen’s is a family run business owned by Tony Friesen, his wife Natasha Frost and Co-owner Spencer Vanderhoof. The Friesen family has been baking for generations starting with Ernie Friesen who passed down his love of baked good and sweet treats to his son Tony. Friesen’s opened with three simple goals, No preservatives, Use as many locally sourced products as possible, and great customer service with an eye for detail. Tony has been baking for over 20 years with specialty items like Divinity and Alpine bread as well as Brittles and Caramel corn. Along with soup chef Sarah Haayer and an amazing soup team Friesen’s goal is to bring the best avaliable product to the most people and have fun doing it

Tony is a long time baker and has one passion in life, Baking. He has been refining his craft for over 20 years and he puts all he can into his work. From Brittles and Divinity to Pastries and Gluten Free items, Tonys eye for detail and enjoyment from baking really shine through and gives customers a one of a kind taste that is hard to find. Tony is always willing to listen to a customer and take in their ideas to really cater to what the people are looking for. His years of experience allow him to be able to make things that are not typical around the area and it also allows him to be able to put a twist on conventional items. Family recipes offer a cornerstone of what Tony can do as he is always looking for new products to put out. He is a true baker and it shows in the excellent product that he puts out
