Established in 1994.

Since 1994, Brennan Construction has been constructing quality buildings on time and within budget throughout Southern Minnesota. By effectively providing design/​build, general contracting and construction management services for a variety of markets including commercial, retail, institutional and industrial, we have established thriving relationships with satisfied clients and strategic, solution-​oriented partnerships with key professionals and tradesmen. Meet the Business Owner

Mike and Cathy B.

Business Owner

Prior to co-​founding Brennan Construction in 1994, Mike was a Project Manager for Ryan Companies in Cedar Rapids, IA & Minneapolis, MN. Mike is a Registered Structural Engineer (retired) with a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Mike has managed and developed several major projects with Brennan Construction including: The Landkamer Building; Bolton & Menk Headquarters; Old Town Center; Car-​X Auto Center; AgStar/​Farm Credit; Blockbusters/​Texaco; Centenary Methodist Church; and numerous tenant buildouts in River Hills Mall, all in Mankato, MN.

Co-​founder Cathy Brennan previously worked as a Certified Public Accountant with Lurie, Eiger, Besikof in the Twin Cities & McGladrey & Pullen in Cedar Rapids, IA. She also worked as an estate and financial plan writer for American Express in the Twin Cities and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1982. She’s currently the Treasurer of the City Center Partnership and works for the Business Development & Retention Committee.
