Great coffee and baked goods. The staff is friendly and there is seating outside. Not much else to say because they did everything wonderfully. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
I highly recommend them as a starting point in exploring Manitou Springs!

This place is amazing. Great sandwich, nice employee’s, and hip music. If I lived in CO, I’d be here all the time.

The staff here is absolutely fantastic! Our pup had a great time hanging out in the shop, and we had great coffee! A win, win.

We have had breakfast and lunch along with amazing coffee. Red Dog puts their own spin on all of their offerings. The sandwiches are so good, it is hard to describe. The bread is thick, toasted slightly so it’s not soggy, and delicious. The turkey avocado has special oil and seasonings that make it hard to stop eating.

Have been here twice after running the incline. Coffee (americano and mocha) are great and the coffee cake muffin and apple tart are amazing. Just what I needed after a workout. The staff is extremely friendly and quick. Thanks!

Good Coffee, Cool atmosphere, but the best part are the employees. They are genuinely friendly and will accommodate to almost anything you ask. Awesome coffee shop you should defiantly check out if you are in Manitou

Coffee was good enough. I ordered a sandwich and it was just meh. Also, don’t order a cookie as a side! They give you a miniature cookie, hardly worthy of something that you could consider as a «side». Staff was friendly, but hardly a place I’m dying to go back to.

Excellent coffee. We purchased a caramel latte and a peppermint latte. Both were very flavorful. We also had a delicious berry tart that was heated up for us. Would highly recommend this place in the heart of Manitou Springs.

The pomegranate green tea is awesome! Comfortable atmosphere makes for a great place to plug in and work for the day.

Great coffee and desserts while shopping in Manitou! Friendly staff and great coffee choices. We stopped in a for a break and found a nice place to ‘rest and regroup’. Recommend to the coffee drinker to stop in!

Yummy coffee, good selection of treats, awesome environment & cool things to keep the kiddos occupied. Wish the staff/​barista would seem like they’re even half happy or content to work for what seems like a great company. Attitude is everything. Let me Rephrase that… Attitude is everything even if you have to work the Sunday shift. Wish I could have gave Red Dog five stars. On a lighter note, I’ll be back and hope I can see some real enthusiasm next time.

I love this little place! I need to come here before the incline more often. The staff was really sweet and attentive. Try out the breakfast burrito it’s filling and delicious. The only thing I’d change is being able to add tips to credit cards. Not everyone carries cash and these people definitely deserve a good tip!

Chicken pesto sandwich was decent, as was the chicken bacon ranch. Neither standing out as anything special to go out of your way for. Personally think a more dense and crusty bread would compliment them quite well.
If I find myself in the area during the morning I likely will stop in again because their breakfast options sounded pretty good. Seems they have potential.

My friend and I were in the mood to shop in downtown Manitou, unfortunately, nothing was open until around 10:00 so we had about an hour to kill. Why not grab a cup of coffee and just people watch? So we did.
We entered Red Dog Coffee and were pleased to smell the delicious aroma of breakfast being cooked– I thought this place was just a coffee shop, breakfast? Don’t mind if I do! There is a pile of menus near the register where you place your order, pay, take your number, and find a seat. The lady behind the counter was a bit brash. The customer in front me of placed his order and handed over his menu, she said in a not so friendly tone «the menus go back over there» to which he had to move three customers back to place the menu back in the pile. I found that to be a little rude, why couldn’t she take the menu so as not to make the current customer weave through other patrons simply to replace the menu he was ordering off of? Eh, ok. I placed my order and proceeded to find myself a table. I had my paper coffee cup in hand ready to mainline caffeine into my depleted system. Where were the coffee pots? I asked the lady behind the counter and without looking up at me she pointed to a station to the left of the utensil section. Thanks lady, you are ever so kind.
The food was amazing and arrived in a timely manner. I have zero complaints with regards to their cuisine– but the borderline «poor» service really left a sour taste in my mouth. If it was not for the «lady behind the counter» I would have no problem giving this establishment a five-​star review.

Hello Manitou Springs! How wonderful is it to go to a spot one day for a fabulous cup of ice coffee and the next day for a wonderful sandwich? I would say pretty fabulous. This spot has a cool, art gallery feel with pleasant employees and a mission to keep the earth clean. They seem to be knowledgeable about allergens and genuinely enjoy the work that they do. I would highly recommend locals to stop here and any tourists passing through to do so as well!
Overall: Clean, delicious and it got us to go there twice in the three days we are in Colorado Springs!
Give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed!

Had a pleasant experience here. The coffee was good and you get one free refill. I had the guacamole toast with an egg on the side and really enjoyed the light meal. Atmosphere is fun and there are a few different seating areas, which is nice. The restaurant is one of those «DIY» places where you have to get your own silverware and clean up after yourself. Overall a nice little coffee shop and I’d probably go back if I was in the area and needed a quick cup of coffee or a light meal.

Clean, fresh, friendly. Got a smoothie which was expertly prepared. Highly recommend.

Great service. Good coffee. The Chicken Pesto sandwich is pretty good too. The place is clean and it isn’t overly touristy, can’t say enough about how welcome that aspect is. Every other shop on the street has a ton of brick-​a-​brack and other items that will end up in someone’s junk pile sooner rather than later.
It is refreshingly unique to get a nice simple shop in a tourist district that delivers exactly what their sign promises, Bakery, Coffee, Chow…
