History

Established in 1959.

When Glick Audio was incorporated in 1959, the Glick family had already been selling Wollensak recorders and Magnavox consoles. During the 60’s, the ‘console era’ was in full swing, and Daniel and his son Vernon expanded their product lines.

Audiophiles started coming to Glick’s to purchase component audio pieces for their stereo systems. These hobbyists had only one goal in mind… to achieve the finest possible sound. This concept of ‘high fidelity’, combined with the superb craftsmanship of the companies such as McIntosh, gave Glick Audio its focus.

Vacuum tubes gave way to transistors in the 60s and 70s as stereo sound made its first tentative steps into early ‘surround sound’ and ‘home theatre’ systems. The business was sold to TCW Computers in 2004. With TCW came new vision and new energy.

Today, Glick Audio and Video is a dynamic company that has integrated a passion for music and video with the ability to network entertainment devices in home and business environments
