When I was in the store the sales person was screaming on the phone about someone who took a knife to someone else — as you can imagine this was very off putting. The sales person continued to scream on the phone as people were walking in and out of the store and when I walked by the store again about 20 minutes later the sales person was still on the phone ignoring customers. Store is pricey and I was that they didn’t have green tea powder(which I did get at the store about a year ago). They couldn’t tell me if they stopped carrying it or if they were out of stock and if they would be getting more in.

I’m extremely happy that there’s a store that specializes in honey too, and not just tea!(Would that there be a store that just sold honey, like«Les secrets de l’apiculteur in old Lyon, France…) I bought a jar of yummy Thyme honey from Sicily. The honey selection is interesting, albeit small, and the store clerk was friendly, but $ 20 is very pricey for the jar that I bought… I didn’t pick up any tea on this visit, but I noticed they had an interesting selection of green and chai teas…

There is tea. There is honey. It’s not false advertising, thank goodness! It’s all a bit pricey. It’s a cool little niche store, indeed. That is all.

I’ve tried only their honey candies. They are the BEST candies I’ve ever tasted. When I opened the bag, I was overwhelmed with this aromatic, refreshing fruity scent. It’s a bag of candies of four /five flavors. It’s about $ 10. I bought one for my mother-in-law, and a couple more for friends. Four stars only only because I’ve not tried any of the other stuff.

What a lovely store! I somehow missed this place despite walking past it numerous times on my way to Weill Cornell. But when I finally noticed it, I couldn’t help but step inside to see what it was like. What I found was a delightful little room with delicious smelling teas, beautiful amber honeys, and related little accessories. I instantly wanted everything but was determined to just look… the charming sales girl had other plans. Though I smelled about a thousand chai and black teas, I walked out with a packet of just one… a very aromatic chocolate raspberry blend that was pretty cheap to boot. I will absolutely be back. They have honey sticks and lots of tea cups that need to be in my cabinet right this instant!
