I love love love this hotel. Makes you feel like you’re in another century. Rates are totally reasonable for downtown and my room was way larger than any shoebox you’d get at the Standard. The beds are perfect. Nice Bigelow toiletries. Perfect for people who kind of want the feeling of being in an Airbnb.

My husband and I stayed here numerous times when our daughter was a student at nearby New York University. We loved the feel of Old New York that this mansion evokes. The staff was helpful, the room was clean.

The staff, here, was excellent from booking to check-​out. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-​appointed; I especially loved the fireplace and the soaking tub. I will definitely be back.

Best place I’ve stayed in NYC. Very clean, very homey feel with an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. A personal touch that is hard to find at any hotel these days, let alone an upscale NYC hotel. Reasonable rates to boot!

I wasn’t lucky enough to stay here myself, but I visited a friend a few times in a couple of different rooms. It’s located in the heart of E. Village but it’s very quiet. The rooms are so cute. I never knew it was a hotel.
