We are actually dry cleaners with over 40 years of industry experience. The Dhobi (pronounced dough-​bee) is an exclusively online dry cleaner. However, we believe in a sense of local community so The Dhobi doesn’t use wholesale facilities.

We have teamed up with local cleaners near you to help us, which means that your favorite dry cleaner down the street may be our partner. Try us today.

So impressed with their service– we use their wash and fold service to do laundry for our theater company, and they are incredibly reliable. We have tried 10+ other laundry services and no one was able to correctly pick up, wash, and return our clothes in time for our next show. The Dhobi has worked perfectly without any additional follow up or extra work– they have our schedule and never fail to follow it. In addition, their customer support team is very responsive and quick to answer questions. 5 stars!

This is a great service! I have tried countless dry cleaners in the Locust Valley area and no one comes close to this service and quality. On top of that, they are eco-​friendly. I love that you can schedule everything from the app and they show up when they say they are going to show up. They give you a great dry cleaning carrying case that doubles as a laundry bag and delivery bag! I am hooked!

I used this service for the first time last week and I was blown away! The driver came to my door within the hour window, and when my clothes were dropped back at my house, they were well cleaned and came with this cool dry cleaning carrying case — the driver showed me that it turns into a laundry bag for my dirty clothes. Can’t wait to use the service again :)

They do a good job and are pretty nice to work with so i recommend using them. Their prices are also average when compared to others. They also are willing to help you when in a pinch with fast service so will continue using them.

Although I live in SC, I frequently visit my family members up in Massapequa. I got to tell you … this service was a life savor. I needed something cleaned quickly for a family event. I did a little research and found The Dhobi. Not only did they pick up my dress when promised, they delivered it back to me right when they said they would. And to top it off, their customer service is wonderful. Knowing I was in a panic, the representative assured me that I would have my dress in time. The Dhobi is top notch. Thanks!
