Faye Avril is a Tarot consultant and Reiki Master (certified by the Holistic Studies Institute in New York City). Faye Avril also practises Dowsing and is a member of the American Society of Dowsers. She is a Focusing Professional and Focusing Trainer (certified by The Focusing Institute), and uses the TAROT, DOWSING and FOCUSING in her readings. Faye Avril is also certified as a Psychic-​Medium and Intuitive Consultant by the Holistic Studies Institute.

Among her Tarot consultations, Avril has worked for the T Salon, the Inn at Irving Place, IBIS, Employees Only, Raoul’s French Bistro, and Aum Bookstore and Crystal Gallery, as well as at other functions and events.

History

Established in 2009.

For many years, I was responsible for an international scientific organization. This was most enjoyable and rewarding work. Along the way, I had also followed my interests in psychic and spiritual paths. After studying and becoming certified in various disciplines in these fields, it seemed only natural to offer what I had learned to others.

The main tools I employ — apart from the skills I have learned — are empathy, ethics and integrity. I feel these are important elements in reaching out to another person on his or her path.

Faye Avril hails from London, England, and lives in Manhattan. She is a member of the Daughters of the British Empire (DBE), and the British Schools and Universities Club of New York (BSUCNY).

Faye Avril obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York (B.A.), A Master’s Degree (M.A.) in Psychology from New York University, and a Doctorate in Public Health (Dr.P.H.), in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences, from Columbia University, New York.
