Rolfing™ Structural integration is a scientifically validated body therapy. Unlike massage, Rolfing focuses not on the muscles but on their protective layer, called fascia (also known as connective tissue). Muscles are contracting tissues that give the body and organs physical movement. The fascia surrounds the muscles, bones and organs in the body. The fascia gives muscles their shape and the body its structure.
Rolfing™ Structural integration aligns and balances the body by lengthening and repositioning the fascia. As fascia is lengthened it allows the muscles to move more efficiently. A structural integration practitioner will apply pressure to the body, working the entire fascial system in a systematic way. When restricted fascia is released and lengthened the body can return to its structurally optimal position.

Business Owner
Before becoming a Rolfer™ I suffered from severe chronic pain for many years. After receiving the «Ten Series» of Rolfing over a period of ten weeks I was a completely transformed. Not only did I experience a total elimination of my pain symptoms, but it was accompanied by a huge increase in mental clarity and body awareness that led to more self confidence and overall enjoyment of everyday life.
Fast forward to today, I’ve gained almost half an inch in height from the length Rolfing created in my spine, and I’ve lost over 25 pounds as a result of my new found love and ability to exercise without pain or the limitations of a stiff body.
So, why I am a Rolfer?
I simply couldn’t find a better way to contribute to this world than helping others find similar possibilities of transformation in their own lives.
