RINY media helped me as a consultant and provided marketing assistance for and upcoming personal project. I have worked as a freelancer for them before and I have to say that as a client I truly appreciate all of their assistance, pointers, responsiveness, timeliness, and commitment to helping me flush out my vision.

The word unprofessional does not adequately describe the fallacious service that Mack provided for the TandC wedding. As a groomsman in the wedding, I too was alarmed by his audacity to bother the bride and groom on the day of the wedding for a ride to and from the festivities after failing to make such arrangements as previously agreed. Additionally, the footage sent for the rough cut was elementary at best. My 5 year old nephew could have done better using an iPhone. Needless to say, I would not recommend Mack and RINY Media LLC even to my worst enemy.

This has got to be the worst service we have ever received in life. My husband and I hired them to do the videography for our wedding, and now, almost a year after our wedding, we are still waiting for said video. We were assured by the owner Mackenten («Mack») Petion that they would do a professional job and checked out their references. A day before our wedding ceremony, Mack calls to say that he doesn’t have a way to get to the wedding venue and asked if someone could give him a ride from his location over an hour away from the venue. Thankfully one of our friends could take care of it, but he arrived over 45 minutes later than we arranged. On the night of our wedding after they finished videotaping, Mack comes up to us to ask us for a ride home because he hadn’t arranged for transportation. The level of unprofessionalism at this point is already mind boggling, but we are determined not to let our night be ruined. My husband deals with it and we figure if the product is good all will be forgiven.
After seeing a rough cut of our wedding video we make a bunch of comments for edits: the sound quality is horrible, the editing is choppy and not smooth, the music is not what we requested. He assures us that he can fix it in the second cut. We send the final payment as per our contract and expect to receive the second cut soon thereafter. We are told that the final product is in the mail along with the hard drive we gave him to put all the original footage on. Some months and weeks pass and after several calls and e-​mails as to the whereabouts of our wedding video we finally get him to fess up that he has the video and has been under a «storm»… as if this is any excuse for blatantly lying and having us worried that our one and only copy of our wedding video was lost in the mail somewhere for weeks. We sent a demand letter requesting that he produce the video by a certain date, or we would be forced to take him to small claims court. No response. We file suit in small claims court and think to ourselves certainly he will just produce the video. No response. We go to court and he doesn’t show. We manage to get a judgment against him. The deadline for him to pay has now passed and he has yet to respond to any of our e-​mails and has failed to pay the judgment. We now have to resort to getting the NYC Marshals involved as a result of their fraudulent and illegal business practices. Please DO NOT use their services.
