RedBird Studio is a recording studio located in the Music Building, Midtown New York City. We specialize in music recording, editing & mixing. Our studio is built with a «cabin in the woods» motif, offering a peaceful sanctuary for music-​making just steps from Times Square. The recording booth is perfect for vocal sessions, with a spacious layout and vibrant acoustical treatment.

History

Established in 2002.

RedBird Studio is a recording studio located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, steps from Times Square. Privately situated in The Music Building, in a space previously tenanted by Madonna, the studio provides an ideal venue for musical artists to record and produce tracks at reasonable rates with veteran industry engineers.

RedBird Studio is a trusted name in town that has catered to a variety of independent & major label artists (Pat Metheny Group, John Mayer, Lola Johnson, Raheem DeVaughn, Barney McAll, Zozo Afrobeat) and commercial music clients (Samsung, Coppertone, HBO, Hyundai).

RedBird Studio houses a vintage Marathon drum kit, Yamaha Motif 88-​Key Synthesizer, and can comfortably accommodate a four piece rhythm section. RedBird Studio’s chief engineer is Andrew Felluss, who brings over 12 years of recording experience. Visiting producers & engineers always welcome.

RedBird Studio is the base of operations for Radian Records, a music house founded by producer engineer Andrew Felluss and artist/​singer-​songwriter Lola Johnson.

Andrew began his media career in Washington, D.C. in 1989, playing guitar with friends and producing multimedia skateboard videos with his local crew Team Luka.

In 1991, Andrew moved to NYC to pursue his dream to record contemporary music. He dreams often.
