Rational Music Studios, a professional piano studio located in the prime area of Upper East Side, Manhattan. With over 10 years of teaching experience, International Concert Pianist Miss Clara Zhang has created an unique «Rational Method».

Every student at Rational Music Studio is given an unique learning curriculum to help them achieve their highest potential. The foundation of this learning style is becoming an honest listener, a limitless imaginer, a critical thinker, and most importantly, an enthusiastic and independent worker.

Business Owner

Classical Concert Pianist Clara Zhang, a native of China, has appeared in major concerts throughout North America and Asia. Ms. Zhang holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Bachelor of Music Degree from Washburn University.

Clara is now based in New York City performing solo and chamber concerts in various venues from Jazz at Lincoln Center to Carnegie Hall.

Aside from her performing career, Clara has also been a dedicated piano teacher for over 10 years. She has taught at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst as well as in private and public music schools around New York City. As the founder and teacher of Rational Music Studios, Clara has formed her own teaching philosophy which has helped hundreds of students to achieve the highest musical success in their lives, including winning music scholarships for college, auditioning into top music schools, and receiving high honors in the ABRSM piano exams.
