My roommate brought in this company to clean our apartment, and set up a regular schedule to come in. Things were going fine until the new guy took over. First, he took forever cleaning the apartment. Hey, it’s a big place. That didn’t bother me so much. What bothered me was breaking my stuff and then not telling us.
I had a snow globe on the living room table which I discovered was broken after the cleaning service came through. This is a gift my uncle gave me when I was 14 and has a lot of sentimental value. I know that the cleaning person knew that he broke it because the glass and water was, miraculously, cleaned up. Except it wasn’t completely — I ended up fishing glass out of my cat’s fur and a nice sized piece out of my foot. When my roommate contacted the company about what happened, the answer was «he broke it and had to run for another job quickly, sorry!» When we asked about reimbursement? Suddenly they’re not answering emails.
I would have been understanding about an accident if he’d told us about it (i was home at the time!). But then NOT telling us, leaving without a word, and not cleaning up the glass thoroughly when my pets or myself and my roommates could have been hurt is unacceptable. And the company not responding to an email when we ask about reimbursement? I wouldn’t let these guys back into my apartment for anything now.

Quality Cleaning Co ended up being more expensive than the top-​rated home cleaning businesses on Unilocal,and their job was mediocre at best. The cleaners seem to pick randomly what parts of the apartment to clean, leaving a good half untouched. They also refused to use a vacuum cleaner, as apparently the company believes in the superiority of the good old broom. A cursory look at the floor after they left quickly proved them wrong. If that wasn’t enough, they also managed to break the sink stopper, without letting us know of course. The quality of the service is about as dismal as their website. Avoid.

The first time someone from this company was supposed to come clean & organize my apartment, they came early (more than 30 minutes early) and I had had a late night so I didn’t hear the doorbell with the bedroom door closed. Now the insane woman who runs this business is saying that I have already used my Living Social Voucher so am I going to pay the full rate next time? Someone was scheduled to come tomorrow at noon and it’s now 10:30 PM and I’m hearing this now? Is that any way to do business? She’s not answering her phone and her mailbox is full so that should tell you just how on the ball this woman is. She’s texting me back and forth telling me «You used the voucher! You used the voucher!» Please give me a break! I would know if I had used the voucher because:
1. I’m not a moron.
2. I throw them in the recycling when I am done with them.
Please, for your blood pressure’s sake, do not do business with this company. There are tons of other, reputable cleaners out there like Homejoy or Maid Marines. No one should be dealing with a nutjob like her. Take your business elsewhere, you’ll thank me.

I purchased their living social deal and got a refund because:
A) They will not take appointments after 5:30, so apparently none of their clients WORK for a living?! They also do not work Sundays. (understandable. day of rest and all…)
B) they tried to reschedule my appointment to a later time via email, which I said I wasn’t able to do. Then, they did not show up at all. When I called to figure out what was going on, El said «sorry we can’t come right now… and my girls won’t want to come later because they have a „party“ to go to.»
I wish they could have let me know instead of making me wait around. So disappointing.

I purchased eight hours of cleaning time from Quality Cleaning Co. based on a special I saw on a social media site. A representative for the company, El, contacted me within half a day to schedule services.
Cleaning service person, Lisa, arrived on time, was wonderfully pleasant, asked for specifics about my original work request, and got straight to work.
In my initial request for cleaning, I warned that there was a lot of work to do, especially in our terribly dirty kitchen. After Lisa was finished, every room was lemony-​fresh and clean, free of dust and grit. She even managed to remove my son’s «masterpiece» from the living room wall. Lisa did a super thorough job, by herself, in less than eight hours.
I highly recommend Quality Cleaning Co. Having home cleaning services in our home is a rare treat. With their more than fair service fees, my family and I might get to enjoy NOT scrubbing the floor a little more often.
