Pups In The City NYC

I came across Jarrod because my coworker uses him for her matlese, Winnie. She couldn’t say enough good things about him and after seeing all of the texts and pictures that Jarrod sent to her to show how Winnie was doing, I was convinced that she was right. I have not been disappointed! Jarrod lets me know every single thing that goes on with our pup, Raleigh. From the time he lets him out of his crate till when he puts him back in, we are updated on EVERYTHING. Jarrod goes above and beyond to take care of your dog. I would never recommend anyone else after meeting him. Oh, and David is great too! He has only walked Raleigh a few times, but he is just as good. Love these two… can’t gush enough!

Lex (lab-​mix) and Moo moo (pit) are my furry sons and we’ve had the pleasure of having David as our walker since October. He is very professional and foremost, an animal lover that understands that they are an extension of my family and takes care of them as such. Rain, snow and sleet, he still takes them out for their hourly walks/​jog/​playtime at the park until they’ve expended their «puppy» energy (they are 4 and 3 yrs old yet still play like they are 3 mths old). He sends me daily text messages to let me know what they’ve done for the day and occasionally sends me pictures that brighten my day when i could use some cheer at work.
Words can’t describe how great David is and we hope to have him back in the near future.

Jarrod is an amazing guy. Even though my dog lana is a big dog and doesn’t get along with other dogs he still walked her despite her unsocial behavior due to her upbringing prior to me adopting her. I hope to have lana more socialized soon so that Jarrod can become her walker again.

Pups in the City is an excellent service! Jarrod takes wonderful care of my dog Gilda. He leaves great notes and sends hilarious pictures of Gilda on her adventures. She seems so much happier since he has been walking her. I can’t recommend Jarrod and Pups in the City enough!

A truly kind and responsible dog walking agency and a pleasure to do business with. My two Yorkies just love Jarrod and his team. They take very good care of them whether its just a 30 min walk or an overnight stay. They are also very accomodating and priced fairly, not to mention very conscientious of my dogs behaviors and habits, which puts me at ease, knowing that if anything were wrong they would notice right away.
I’ve been using Pups in the City now for 6 months and would never go anywhere else for the services they provide. I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving my yorkies with anyone as I do with Pups in the City! They truly do care about the health and happiness of you and your pups!

After reading the other reviews, it’s clear everyone at Pups in the City truly cares about each individual dog they watch and walk — they give a wonderful and unique experience to each of their clients. My experience is no different — Jarrod and David are simply the best when it comes to taking care of any city pups! It can be very nerve-​wracking to find the right person to care for your dog — and with them, I know when I’m leaving my dog she’s getting the same attention and love I’d give her.
I have a 13 (almost 14) year old beagle who had a bad bout of back trouble this past summer. She was on steroids that caused her to eat and drink like crazy (and that meant tons of trips outside.) During this same time, I had to travel for work and though I didn’t want to leave her, I simply had to. Lucky for both of us, Jarrod was available to have her board with him at his home. Jarrod carried her up and down the stairs each time she needed a walk and made sure she was comfortable and taking all of her medicine on time. Additionally, he knew I was nervous about leaving her and took photos and sent them to me with updates while I was away so I could see she was doing just fine.
I’m happy to say, six months later, her back is well and she has her puppy energy back — sadly since we moved to Long Island City, we don’t see Jarrod as much — though I’ve been working on getting him to expand out to Queens!

I moved to the city last summer and was unsure of how my dog would adapt. When I discovered Pups In The City I soon felt at ease about the transition. This is a super reliable, flexible company that caters to your dogs personal needs. I like the smaller group (1 – 3) walks (and runs!) as opposed to seeing walkers with 5 or more dogs! Highly recommended! You and your pooch will not be disappointed!
