Meet the Business Owner
Asuka F.
Business Owner
Asuka Fu began her piano studies at the age of 5. Under the guidance of Akiko Hasunuma, she started entering competitions and received numerous awards including 1st prize for the solo and duo divisions of the Southern Youth Music Festival. She moved to New York to continue her studies with Miyoko Lotto at NYU where she received her B.M. and M.A. She currently resides in New York City with her cat Munchkin, where she enjoys a diverse musical career.
Some of her notable performances include a duo concert in La Paz, Bolivia (sponsored by the Vice Ministry of Culture), and a collaborative tour in Japan with pianist Susan Svrcek. In 2007, she captured first prize at the Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition. In the summer of 2009, Asuka was presented by Artist International in her solo debut at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
