Perfect Brows

Why say you do henna when you can’t do the typical mehndi designs? Was a waste of time. And omg they were so rude when I walked in. I thought I was an enemy of something. Definitely won’t be going back there.

I’ve gone here for threading only. These women do an OK job, and are usually pretty fast and give a good shape. However, they need to know some basic courtesy rules: DO NOT make any comments about the customer’s hair! «Been a long time?» «You have a lot of hair» etc, are RUDE comments and yes, duh, the reason I am here is because I want my hair removed. I don’t want to have a conversation about it. Additionally, DO NOT push services on people (lip wax? lip wax? lip wax?), also rude and unnecessary. Believe me, people will tell you if they want another service. Just do the job you’re asked to do, make no comments unless they are complimentary ones.

Ive come here on many occasions but i usually do the sugar waxing under my arms. Each time is a pleasant experience with the few ladies who did my waxing. I also do the bikini waxing from time to time. Mira (hopefully i spelled it right) was very pleasant today. She did my underarms and deep bikini wax. Of course it was painful, what wax isnt?! But she was very patient and understanding even though i was sweating so bad which slowed down the process because the sugar wax doesnt work well with sweat. Anyway, she did a good and quick job. She made me laugh and feel comfortable. Ill be back to see her again.

I was so happy and excited when I found Perfect Brows, Nood was the woman who originally helped me and she did a lovely job and at a very affordable price. The Manager is a nice man and always seems to be in a good mood that why I find it unfortunate that i have to share my experience with Januko (might be Janieko, a younger girl).
This girl had absolutely no idea what she was doing. I went in for a face wax and Nood was not in so I put my trust on Januko/​Janieko and as she finishedI mentioned to her my face felt irritated (the wax felt a little warmer this time and smelt different), she proceeded to put aloe vera gel and it BURNED! Her and the Manager insured that it was just a temporary sensation and had me ice it. I was in a rush to class so I took their word and paid.
That night I didn’t sleep a wink because every time my cheek touched the pillow it would wake me up from the pain i felt. I woke up to a HUGE mark on my face and went thru an embarrassing day at the office where everyone looked at me as if I was in a brawl or accident.
I went back to Perfect Brows, after going back and forth that I did NOT want a certificate… the Manager finally gave me my money back … I didnt fuss about the tip i gave Januko/Janieko…but my TIP to EVERYONE is DO NOT LET HER NEAR YOU or just avoid this place at all cost!!!
I wish i would have seen the other horrible incidents that happened at «Perfect Brows» because i would have continued walking past this place!

This was not only my first visit here but it was also my very first time trying out threading my brows and I was so nervous. They knew it was my first time and they were so nice and the lady who did my brows was so nice and sweet and so gentle that I honestly didn’t realize any pain. I will totally go again. this is going to be my new brow spot!

Do not go here if you need shaping. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for 15 years and know when people can just clean up or actually know how to really shape. It’s my face so I’m picky and I don’t want some random thread job. I want a good job that makes my eyebrows look great. I did not have that experience here. She was very nice but it literally took 30 minutes because I had to keep describing how I usually get them and she kept making the shape a little weird. I normally do not need to explain so much at my top places that specialize in shaping. They just know how to shape. This place does not seem to know. And it was not just my person it was the other too because while I was in process someone came in to complain to the other lady that she was not happy with her shape either. We both left unhappy. Now my eyebrows are not what I wanted and I have to wait forever for them to grow out. If you need an easy thing done like chin and lip it’s a good price. But if you need something with the skill of shaping, just walk away. Again they were very nice but nice doesn’t shape unfortunately.

Okay, people, threading hurts. I am speaking from years of experience as an Indian woman who has had aunties and beauticians alike rip hairs from my pores since I «came of age.»
What I experienced with Amy was as gentle and minimally painful as the process can be. If you’re a first timer and want some beautifully-​sculpted brows, I suggest this place and Amy. Other places can do decent work, but the pain is real. A gentle touch plus experience goes a long way!

People should be more honest with their reviews because it could prove detrimental to others. The person who threaded my brows caused extensive bleeding and pain to my right eye. I told her that I had a bad experience on New years eve at another salon. If these people do not have formal training then they should not be able to service customers. I will be posting a picture as well

I’ve been going to the place for two years. The woman that work here are amazing. Keep your receipts for the reward program.

They always do a great job with my eyebrows, the women and really nice, and it’s so cheap -$ 7!

This place is one of my go to spots for quick eyebrow threading when I’m in a rush. The service is fast and reliable – they’ve always done a great job! I used to do lip threading there, but I’ve grown less brave with time and usually forgo that for a lip wax instead, which has generally been reliable, but I will say they are best at threading. Plus, you just can’t beat the cost! And, if you have a Belly card, they offer the 10^th threading free, yay!

DO NOT GET WAXED HERE! I would give zero stars if I could. I stopped off on an impulse to get my eyebrows waxed (they specialize in threading but it hurts too bad so I wax). My brow region has exploded with disgusting pustules and red bumps and I look monstrous :(about to see my family for the first time in months for thanksgiving and I look like a fucking crackhead or like a teenager with severe cystic acne. I’m mortified. SPARE YOURSELF AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE :(

First time getting threading ever– way less painful then waxing and looks pretty good. Great price, would return.

Came in for a brow threading and lip wax (lip threading hurts too much). They convinced me to do lip threading since it’s kinder on your skin– can’t remember the girl’s name that I had, but she was very efficient and gentle and results were great. I was in and out in less than ten minutes. They also only charged me $ 5 instead of $ 10 since I was a new customer. Friendly man at the register as well. Highly recommend.

All time favorite eyebrow threading salon! Will not go anywhere else. Each staff member I have encountered has been very friendly and an expert at their trade. I get my eyebrows shaped by threading and tinted, and I always leave 100% satisfied!

Came here today because I was in the area and needed my bored threaded. I usually go to Himalayan near Rockefeller center but didn’t want to go out of my way today. Well I for sure will be sticking to my usual place. My brows look their usual great as I told them to just clean them up and not screw with the shape. I think the techs here are talented. However I prefer Himalayan because at least there I 1) never have to just day clean up and 2) will never try to be up sold. Not that brow threading needs to be super relaxing and I get that it’s a cheap service ($ 7) but if I want to get my brows threaded that’s all I want. It’s beyond annoying when someone forgoes small talk to tell you of all the other services they do. Skip it. 3 stars only for the techs.

No matter what salon you go to, a Brazilian wax is never going to be pleasant. Or enjoyable. But. I was long overdue and needed something quick one day near my office and Mosma at perfect brows did a great job. She was friendly, patient, and fast! The salon is very clean and they don’t double dip (which is key!).
Long story short: it’s a no frills spot but theyre clean, fast, reasonably priced, and you can trust Mosma with your lady bits.

I have been to 4 of the «Perfect Brows» locations in Manhattan collectively about 15 times. They do the best threading job, and always exactly how you request it.
This location, however is decorated better and is more spacious.

I enjoy this salon. Good prices and good service. I go every 2 weeks for about 5months now. They are pretty consistent with my browns. Sometimes I get my brows tinted which I love. I get my upper lip done once a month (I have never had a salon mess up on the upper lip). This is one of my top threading salons to go to in NYC.
I like that they take credit cards. It’s hard to remember which salons don’t take cards…
The salon is clean and new.
