Pascal Benichou Custom Furniture

We ordered a large dining table from Pascal Benichou last year. He strung us along for months, delaying and delaying, one excuse after another. The night before he was to deliver the table to our apartment (and we had been living without a table for months, mind you), he texts to inform me that he will not be making me a table at all. It was horribly unprofessional and greatly inconvenienced my wife and me. Pascal never even apologized.

Pascal Benichou is a very skilled artist. We ordered a reclaimed-​wood 76″ long dining table with an assorted bench and all I can say is WWWOOOOWWW!!! It is totally awesome and ten times more beautiful than Crate and Barrel crap. It also has more style and character than what you can find at From The Source for a third of the price! Do not hesitate to order a piece of furniture from Pascal you won’t be disappointed!!!

Pascal Benichou is a versatile artist who happens to make amazing custom wood furniture-​think book shelves and tables etc. I found him on craigslist and checked out some of his past works. He uses reclaimed wood from New England to create specific pieces for your home. For less then a grand I got an extremely fashionable large dinner table with over 150 years worth of history-​and the thing is SOLID! I’m going to be holding on to this baby for years. The piece fits in perfectly with a modern, rustic, or shabby chic décor. Not only is he cheaper than the other artists using reclaimed goods, but frankly I think his pieces are more tasteful. Before you go to IKEA, crate and barrel, bo concept, DWR, or west elm surf CL for a minute. The table I commissioned wasn’t much more and it will last 5 times as long as that flimsy crap.
I gave Pascal general directions and checked out a few photos of the material but pretty much left all the discretion to him. I am very happy with the result. He not only finished the piece on time, but was a real sport about delivery (there were elevator problems and help me get this thing into my apartment). I really couldn’t be more satisfied.
