Pasargad Antique & Decorative Rugs

My wife and I are shopping for persian carpet (s) for our living room. Buying a Persian carpet is an intimidating process to embark upon without deep knowledge Mr Isfahany was extremely helpful and spent close to 2 hours educating us on Persian rugs. He and Eross made us feel comfortable. There was no sales pressure — in fact it was the opposite. Mr Isfahany told us to do more thinking about what kind of rug we want to live with i.e. What color, design, size etc.
Fantastic experience. If you are thinking about a Persian carpet but feel afraid to go into a store, please take my advice and visit Pasargad.

I had the pleasure of working with David Isfahany when building our new office space. He was extremely prompt and responsive throughout the whole process and was quick to deliver multiple rugs for us to try out in our space. We chose one and had not yet received our reception area furniture and he gave us an option to exchange if it didn’t match our décor upon delivery. I highly recommend Pasargad for their attention to customer satisfaction. It is VERY hard to come by in NYC.

I met Mr. Beni Isfahany at the new Glen Cove location — not Manhattan store. I had a problem with a rug cleaning and specifically the reattaching of an old fringe on my antique persian rugs when they were sent to another company (Safavieh) for cleaning last month. Without asking me the fringe was removed, bleached and reattached with glue on one and machine stitching on the other. They were loosely hand-​stitched before the cleaning and I planned to remove it after, but now I cannot. I brought the rugs to Pasargad for a consult and found Mr. Isfahany to be extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and generous– in the end he recommended not re-​cleaning or removing the offending snow white fringe. Let it protect the edge of your rug and it will be less white soon was his practical advice. He easily could have taken my money to remove the fringe, which would have been very costly to me. Safavieh denies ever touching the fringe, which is a lie. I will be bringing another rug to Pasargad for repair soon. I very much appreciate and admire honest expertise. So hard to find!
