I am so mad at myself for falling for their sales tactics. They lure you in with a sample offered at their doorway and before you know it you’ve left with $ 500 of useless products. When I realized that I would never use the products and tried to return them, they refused to give me a refund, citing a «no returns after 24 hours» policy. Stay away, this place is a rip-off.

Avoid this place or come in and piss them off by saying that you don’t have money lol! The lady with samples caught me at the street while I was trying to figure out where is the coffee-shop I’m looking for. She asked me what I was looking for and I didn’t realize how I happened to be inside with this miracle of cosmetics on my hand being told that I have lines in such young age. The lady is very good looking, attractive, so you really don’t feel where is the hack is hiding until I told her I’m not carrying money with me. Her face changed and she said: «You can tell me you don’t like it but don’t tell me you don’t have a single dollar on you!» Loool

I was strolling down 57th street pondering the essence of God when an opprobrious, Orogold salesperson gripped me by the elbow and dragged me into the boutique. He sat me down in a spa chair and told me the deep peel product«penetrates five layers of skin and will give me eternal happiness and immortality.» I knew I was in trouble when he claimed he was not after a commission; rather, he cared deeply about my troubled skin and knew my life would be infinitely better after buying the product. In fact, he would sacrifice his own points to give me a massive discount: from $ 180 to just $ 130 plus moisturizer for a total of only $ 170. Little did he know I am passionate about objectivism, capitalism, and cruelty-free skin care products. If he had given me a sample and let the product speak for itself, I would have become a concupiscent customer. If he had treated me like a rational human being instead of like an emotional little girl, I would have reacted with my business instead of with my wariness. Human psychology makes me want to laugh and cry and spend the rest of my life caring for shetland sheepdogs.

This is the worst brand experience ever. Like many other experienced(wish i could have done some research before going to this store), i was duped to see the magic exfoliation cream and the gold mask and such a life changing experience as Tony advertised. This is a weird place with all of aggressive guys standing on the street trying to get any women they can to try their products, thus they claim they are such a high end and celebrity adored brand. All crap and sales BS to trick you to make a pulse purchase. They further allured you with their limited time promotion and magic results, Its totally scam and this brand should go to hell as they totally do not deserve any second of your attention or any penny from your wallet. Stay away, Stay away from these people who know how to dupe you!

I happened to be walking by and Tony stopped me and got me interested in learning more about orogold. I am thrilled to say that I love the peel that I bought. It has made my skin look beautiful and softer than it ever has been. I will definitely be going back for more products.

Please leave people alone!!! Staying at a hotel nearby and they harass and pester you way beyond anything I’ve ever seen anywhere in the world. If the products are that great, everyone would be flocking to them. Harassment would be unnecessary!!! Stop immediately! This gives a horrible impression of NYC for visitors. Of your store.

Never actually been inside this place, but just posting this because of their harassment street sales. I live on 57th street and have to walk by this awful store every single day to and from work. They always have at least two people at the door hawking their«free samples» to you and will actually follow you down the sidewalk and say«Hey miss, can I ask you a question?» after you ignore them. It’s gotten so bad that I’ll walk a few extra minutes in the cold to stay on the other side of the street. Don’t encourage their behavior. Stay away.

This is a very bizarre place. I was given a bag with a sample inside while walking by and stopped to ask what it was. The girl asked me to come inside and try the products and I agreed since I had taken the free sample. Once inside, she put an exfoliator and toner on my hand, which did feel great and appear to work. The set was nearly $ 200 and since I’ve never heard of Orogold, I wanted to research it a little before committing. I told her I would think about it and come back later and that’s when she started getting intense about not letting me leave without buying something. It was very weird and I eventually had to walk while she was still talking to me because she literally would not stop no matter what I said.

Review of their sales tactic, not the product. WHATISWRONGWITHTHISBRAND? If you’re trying to establish yourself as a luxury skin care product producer, step up the sales game to that level too. Harassing and pressuring folks walking by will NOTCUTIT. You’ve forever tarnished your brand image to me, so I probably will not be purchasing even if I did need the overpriced moisturizer.

How is this store even open? Made the mistake of being lured inside by some dude with a thick accent saying its a spa which also does facials… wtf obviously it wasn’t. New to Manhattan, I very quickly realized this was a store front version of those ANNOYING Dead Sea skin kiosks at the mall. These thick accented dudes and the ‘store owner’ wasted a good 30 mins of my time trying to con me into spending $ 200. If the products they are swearing by are so good, this company WOULD sample it first. I don’t understand how these ppl are paying the rent for the storefront. Totally empty. Needs to shut down. Scam.

Your sales people have been harassing me on 57th Street every single day. You would have more people visiting your stores if you wouldn’t have those amateurs yelling after people on a sidewalk in Manhattan! Very bad for your image and your sales!

Romeo was so kind and helpful! He showed me the multi vitamin deep peeling gel and I loved it. I also tried out the moisturizer and a body scrub which made my skin very soft and smooth. As a fellow retail worker, I would have to say that not only does Orogold have great but they also have great customer service and great people working there. It is worth a visit to just chat and fall in love with the product as well as how it is presented. I ended up purchasing the deep peeling gel, and as a broke college student I appreciated the student discount. If you’re in the area looking to kill time it’s worth a look :)

Had a coupon from a charity event to try the facial with David and it was amazing! Their skin products are very unique and is different from what I normally use Estée Lauder and Elizabeth Arden. I’m excited to try the new skin line products from this brand.

Aggressive street hawkers. Waking down 57 street I politely declined their sample. Then a woman shouted ’ excuse me ‘. I turned around and she asked ’ what skincare are you using ‘. Trying to escape again, I said ‘thank you and goodbye’. I silently curse my parents for raising me with manners. Next…(!? Next? How many are there? Is there a replicator in that store?) a guy says ‘miss, miss’. Stupidly I turn around ’ what kind of moisturizer are you using’. I turn around and keep waking while they continue to call endlessly after me. … Annd scene. The end. I could care less how their product is, it probably meets the same quality standards of the crackerjack sales team.

A friend told me about Orogold Cosmetics so I recently tried the face cream and serum. I have used many different products over the years(and sold some) and I can honestly say I have never used anything that made my skin feel so luxurious. The face cream feels like silk. It is so beautifully packaged that using it feels like a secret indulgence. My skin is extremely dry especially in this weather and after using Orogold for only about a week I can already feel a difference. My skin is smoother and feels so much healthier. I highly recommend this product. You will love it.

Outstanding customer service and a great product line. Romeo is definitely good at his job and was knowledgable about the products that would work for me. I enjoyed the shopping experience and left with a smile on my face.

Great customer service! Their products are amazing. Romeo was very helpful, and opened my eyes to some great skin products. Because of him I won’t be buying skin products from any other company. Try them out! You won’t be disappointed. So glad I stopped by :)
