History

Established in 2014.

Although our website is new, we’re no strangers to the SEO industry. The principals at Optimize New York have strategically pulled together a team of Olympian athletes in all areas of search and inbound marketing, who have been flexing their muscles under various banners for over a decade.

We firmly believe that it takes a full army of experts to cover the vast amount of territory that SEO now spans — from keyword research, back-​end programming work, and data analysis to content development, social engagement, and videography — and all of the other specialty areas that play a role in search rankings.

Optimize New York is a division of Corporate Performance Artists, founded in the heart of Manhattan in 2003. Our subsidiary, Plugin Group, provides SEO and marketing support to ad agencies, as a source of white-​label services.

Business Owner

Joseph McElroy graduated from Duke University with degrees in Computer Science and Economics. He brings over two decades of experience, including as a team leader at IBM and a key funder of profitable startups, to his position as CEO of Optimize New York. Joseph has an abiding passion for all things design, and a strong belief in the importance of both beauty and function — as well as a steadfast dedication to impeccable client service.
