My reduced summer rate is $ 75 per hour.

History

Established in 2003.

I’ve been working full time as a science and math tutor in New York City, Queens, and Brooklyn for over 7 years. In that time I’ve worked with a wide range of students. I’ve learned what works best with different learning styles and I’m always willing to take the time to do a good job.

Business Owner

I received by bachelor’s degree from George Washington University, a major in English and minors in Math and Philosophy. I worked as a web programmer for a couple years after college, but I found the work to be tedious. After moving to New York, I started tutoring college chemistry, and found that I really enjoyed teaching. I also seem to have a knack for explaining difficult concepts in a way that’s easy to understand. The one-​on-​one, personal nature of private tutoring keeps things interesting, and I’m always happy to teach someone, as long as they’re willing to learn.
