Floating in Peace, Comfort, and Relaxation with Reiki

NYC Reiki Center uses hands-​on Reiki treatments and one-​on-​one counseling to help clients overcome old patterns of thinking and behavior that disrupt their happiness, health, relationships, and spiritual connection.

Working together over 8 to 12 sessions of about 2 hours each, we remove old patterns and establish new, healthier life rhythms. Most clients are able to move through their obstacles and create new ways of being that bring them happiness, fulfillment, and peace of mind.

* Private Treatment — We generally offer only 2-​hour sessions, as they are the most therapeutic. However, for those on a budget, we also offer 1-​hour sessions by request.

* Reiki Classes — Each month we offer a weekend introductory class (Reiki Level 1), which provides students with all the tools they need to practice Reiki on themselves, friends, family, and pets.

* Intuitive Readings — Private intuitive readings are available upon request.

* Crystal Healing — One-​hour crystal healing sessions are also available upon request.

* Limpieza con Huevo — An Ecuadorian Shaman will perform egg cleaning. Using an egg and floral waters he has prepared, he will clear the body of all negative energies and influences. When finished, he will break the egg into a clear glass of water and explain to you who and what are affecting your energy. He will bathe you in the healing essences he had made, conferring lasting protection. 3 treatments recommended.

History

Established in 2007.

Brian Brunius established the New York City Reiki Center when he began a 3-​year Master Teacher training and apprenticeship in 2007. Now, after 7 years, we are opening branches in other cities as well.

We follow the traditional Japanese energy healing practice of Usui Shiki Ryoho — or Reiki — using techniques passed down from master to student over a hundred years.

We work with many women who are trying to get pregnant with IVF or IUI, cancer patients undergoing chemo and radiation, stressed-​out New Yorkers with anxiety and panic attack disorders, women experiencing change-​of life issues, and many spiritual seekers who are searching for a deeper connection to Source.

Business Owner

Brian Brunius, founder of the NYC Reiki Center, is a talented Reiki Master who sees clients in his Manhattan office and makes house calls to private residences. He travels extensively to teach Reiki classes in North America.

Brian began his study of Reiki in 1995 with John Harvey Gray, a student of Hawayo Takata, the woman who brought Reiki to America. In 2010, after 15 years of practice, he completed a 3-​year, 2,000 hour master apprenticeship to enable him to teach Reiki courses and certify students as a Master recognized by The Reiki Alliance, an international community of Reiki Masters dedicated to the practice of Usui Shiki Ryoho, the Usui System of Natural Healing.
