We specialize in the repair of fixing mobile devices in the NYC area. We fix broken screens and cracked LCD on the world most popular devices. Anything from the LG G3 to the Samsung Galaxy S5 can be repaired in our mobile device center. We specialize in fixing almost any problem with any type of device whether a tablet or phone we are usually able to fix it in a short amount of time.

We fix cracked screens, charger ports, headphone jack, lock button and many more parts of other tablets and phones. Our repair center located by Grand Central can fix iPad Air, iPad Mini and iPhone 6 as well. Bring us any device and as long as we can order a part for it, we can fix it!

History

Established in 2012.

We started off fixing just the screens of iPhones like everybody else. We realized we needed something to set us apart from the competitors in the area and thats when we started to practice fixing other devices such as Samsung, LG, Nokia, HTC and many more tablets. The list goes on for what we have learned to fix to better serve the New York residents. After time we started to finish our repair in under 30 minutes so that the customers would not be without their phones for too long.

I started off taking apart gadgets when I was just a little kid. From phones, to my computer, to my old electronics and CD players. It always seemed fascinating to me how a small little gadgets could produce such a large entertainment for us. It really amazed me how a bunch of little components put together could produce such power. However, what got me into this business was realizing how hard it was to fix such gadgets that seemed so simple from the outside.

I wanted so bad to leave a glowing review. My experience started off great. It was a little hard for me to find, but once I did, Abraham (if I’m remembering correctly) was very friendly, he even remembered me from when we spoke on the phone the day before. He explained everything to me, gave me my receipt and told me he would call/​text when I could pick up my phone– around 5 the next day (my phone was a little more involved to fix).
The pickup is where things went downhill. By 4 I didn’t receive any call or text for the 5:00 pickup so I decided to call them. When I went to pickup my phone there was a different man there who was already dealing with a customer. He handed over the phone to me without asking for any kind of proof/​receipt that it was mine. He then says the following… «$ 79…oh wait…$ 90». The ‘oh wait’ part being him doing some math on his tablet for the tax which was apparently forgotten about until that moment. What if I only brought enough for the original price? I had neither the patience or time to debate it as I needed to get back to work.
Basically what I experienced was bait and switch. I assumed the price was what was on the receipt. When I go anywhere else the tax is included on the receipt. But what could I do, I needed the phone. The plus side out of all of this is that the phone is repaired and it works perfectly, so two stars for that.

These guys are great. I contacted them through their website for a quote and they responded within minutes. Traded a few emails back and forth (they wanted to make sure they had the part at the location closest to me) and dropped off my phone on the way to work. Was able to pick it up later that day with a brand new screen and working perfectly.
I don’t often post reviews, but finding someone quick and honest that does work like this is a refreshing change of pace that is worthy of recognition. I had previously contacted another repair shop that was a disaster inside and that wanted to charge 35% more for the same repair. Very glad that I now have a go-​to place for when I inevitably drop my phone again.

My three year old Galaxy S3 had difficulty charging. Sometimes it would charge only 1% per hour, on bad days. I brought it to NYC Mobile Device Doctors, thinking that the problem was a damaged charging port. They said the charging port was fine but that it was my charger that was broken. Upon this advice, I got a new charger at Best Buy and the problem is solved. They could have easily deceived me into ‘repairing’ the phone, but instead they were honest. A respectable business and I would use them again.

Went in on a Sunday to the location on 224 west 35th st. LG G3 with a broken screen and LCD. Verizon told me to buy a new one for full retail price, another repair shop said it will cost me about $ 400 and a 5 day wait. These guys had me in and out the door in under an hour for less then $ 160 and apologized that it took so long. Looking forward to breaking my phone again.

LOVED THEM!!! Always great service. There is one not good review here and all i can say is that the problem seems to be more that it was a off chance bad screen. I am a person who is constantly dinging up my s4, every time I go Abraham and Izzy are great! My phone comes back as good as new. I recommend them to any one not just iphone users but they do an amazing job on androids!

If you work by MetLife, there isn’t a question of where to go for mobile repairs.

Listen (Read) up, folks.
I will tell you how to get to the actual office:
1. Enter the MetLife Building
2. Take escalators upstairs to the main lobby entrance
3. Stop by the security desk, give them your ID, take a mug shot + get a guest pass
4. Ride whichever elevator to the 17th floor and say hi to the receptionist
5. Wait for Abraham to pick ya up from the waiting area
6. Don’t be alarmed– it’s a shared space office. It’s a bit off putting but has an interesting set up. He’ll lead you to a small office
7. Wait ~ 15 min, pay ~$ 109 (iPhone 6 cracked screen only) *bring cash if you don’t want to pay additional tax for card
8. Leave happy
So like I said, a bit of a process to get there… but at least it’s super high security and they do a no complaints, great job! You get 6 months warranty, also.
I’d like to additionally add: They happened to have a very busy morning and I was on my way to work. Abraham could sense my time weary and offered to deliver my phone, fully fixed, to my office, which conveniently was 2 blocks away. Obviously, I’m sure they don’t deliver on a regular basis, but I wanted to put this out there so you understand customer service is outstanding. He clearly cares about satisfying his customers and providing the best quality care for you and your beloved… phone.
I hope I don’t come back for the sake of my phone, but if I break it again, I would return.

Excellent job, fast service.
My young son dropped my two week old LG G3 smartphone and smashed the screen. Screen was inoperative and I was terribly aggravated, especially since I was leaving for Florida the next day and had no spare phone.
I called and they quoted me a price of $ 129 for fixing everything with 90 day warranty.
I went to their office above Grand Central, and while I sat and watched, they fixed the phone in 10 minutes. Brand new screen glass and digitizer.
Phone looks and works like new, I am very pleased with them. The technician is competent and fast, knows his stuff.
I spent another 10 minutes in their office checking the functions of my phone, all was well.
No additional charges or monkey business, they charged me only the quoted price and gave me a receipt with the warranty.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Ok so I recently had to take the cover off my phone and got a little too comfortable without it. After two and a half years, I dropped my phone and cracked the glass. I selected this place since the location was convenient for me. Well after 10 minutes my screen was replaced and looked like new. This place is awesome!!! Oh and a savior!!! Fast service, professional, helpful and the price is right. Would definitely recommend you use this place if you need your phone fixed.

Best choice I could have made. Needed iPhone 5C fixed, got in and out in 15 minutes. Got to see the inside of the MetLife building which was cool too. (Don’t miss the stunning view of the Helmsley Building from the main desk if you’re architecturally inclined!) Keep in mind you will have to go through security to get to the elevator bank so bring your ID. Great fast well-​priced service, would 100% recommend!
