J. Soto is a cultural practitioner and customer consultant generating work in art and design.

Over the course of his career, Soto has participated within multiple customer-​focused teams, taking the lead in consulting, fabrication, and brand ambassadorship. These ongoing projects have offered him a hands-​on foundation in building and growing projects through customer satisfaction and collaboration. Soto received his BA from San Francisco State University in Art and a Master of Fine Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Mountary is as good as it gets. Excellent quality frames custom made from sustainable wood, incredible customer service, and really user friendly experience! I would definitely recommend Mountary! They have a white glove service where you can schedule a framing expert to come to your home or office for only $ 35. It’s rad — scroll down to the bottom of the page for information:

I’m a photographer and I’ll have Mountary come over to my studio and we’ll talk through options for a bunch of prints for clients all at once, and then they will ship them directly to the clients. It makes life so much easier… not to mention they are really fun people to work with, so you have a good time doing it.

I was given a gift of 7 Gaudi’s sketchings. Each one needed a 16×20 frame. I was shocked at home much this was going to cost at a few of the stores I tried in NY, picture frames are so expensive. A co-​worker told me about Mountary as a solution to my custom frames problem. I was able to get all 7 nicely framed for a lot less than my local store and didn’t have to leave my desk. I scheduled online and Jay came to me with frame samples, it was super simple.

I used the White Glove service and I’m very satisfied. Had two pieces framed and just made an appointment for two more. Only downside is limited frame and glass choices, but they make up for it with quality service.

This is a great service. I have used their white glove service, they come to your house and measure all your pictures. They take them and ship them back to you ready to hang in their custom frame.
Painless, quick and better prices than most framing places in nyc. I hope they can get a local framing operation in nyc, right now they ship everything back to Cali to get framed, not sure if that adds too much to the costs.
Overall, I recommend this place if you have some pictures/​art that need framing and want a very transparent experience.

I have had a several custom made frames made for me by the Mountary Team, and have been very impressed with the finished products and service provided. The simple yet effective brown paper wrapping with gift tag also adds a nice finishing touch, saving you from re-​wrapping the frame if you opt to give it as a gift!
