Had to pick up a sofa last minute, and only had about an hour and a half to get it done. Called these guys and they were able to do the job within the time frame. Pretty impressed with the efficiency and quickness in which they responded. Clean job, fast, affordable and to the point. Will certainly use them again in the future. 5 stars easily.

Great service at a fair price. Arrived early both times and drove our fragile cargo carefully. He does not help you load/​unload but we understood that from the start so no problem there. Just what we needed to avoid renting a truck or paying tons more for a full service mover.

They were supposed to have arrived at 3pm. 45 mins later they contact me via email asking if they can move my stuff tomorrow. Doesn’t really help if I need to be out of the house by today and I’m going to be in Maine tomorrow. Thanks guys.

I highly recommend this company. I had to return some large ikea furniture and pick up some large ikea furniture at the last minute since I was only in NYC for a short time and had no car.
The guys came, helped me like I was a relative do all the work involved in this transaction. Super nice guys helped me with this company.

You know those flyers taped to phone polls, and posted in coffee shops all over the city that say «Man with Van» and you immediately think damn, thats a Sketchy name! Well, there’s nothing sketchy about it! The man with the van was on time and professional, along with his two employees who were very fast at loading and unloading all of my boxes. Also, pretty affordable compared to the other moving services out there. I would definitely use him again if I had to move.

This supposed ‘Man with Van’ is not insured, never on time, and possibly made off with a box of my rare, 1st edition books.
You’re better off renting a Zipcar and moving yourself.
And he writes fake reviews to boost his ratings.

As a girl alone in the city with no car I had no idea how I was going to move my one bedroom worth of stuff ten minutes down the street.
I didn’t want to hire my own truck or moving van because a– I would still have to move all my stuff down the three flights of stairs and b– I didn’t really have that much stuff.
A few people had recommended «Man with Van» services so I just googled «Man with Van, Brooklyn» and wa la this dude came up.
I have no complaints whatsoever — it was on time, fast and great care was taken with all my things.
I would recommend this guy any day and I would definitely use this service again!
