Wow… talk about fast. I needed a truck to move a clients belongings on a Saturday. so called.
I literally called at 10 am and they were at the apt by 2 pm. Used them 3 times already, and overtime. fast, efficient, friendly, responsible, and amazing prices!

Dan is the best! I wish I could give him 1 000 000 000+++ stars if I could. I needed one table moved within a 10 block distance– sounds simple enough, right? The simple move turned out to be a nightmare when we couldn’t fit the table through our apartment building entrance. But Dan was savvy and prepared with emergencies like this, and had tools to disassemble the table. Not only did he have the tools, he actually took off the table legs himself without a hint of annoyance. He was so kind and pleasant the entire time. Did I mention it was also a last minute request? I called the day of, and he fit me in his schedule, and was on time, AND prompt with communication the entire time. I recommend Dan for his quality of work, professionalism, and awesomeness! I will book him again in couple months when my lease is up. Thank you, Dan!

I’ve never written a Unilocal review before, so you know this has to be good. I called 3 days before moving and Dan could not have been more accommodating. He had no problem showing up on a Wednesday evening to help me out. He actually arrived a little bit early!
I had a stack of boxes, some big suitcases, and about 3 small pieces of furniture. Not tons of stuff if the grand scheme of things, but way too much for me to move on my own. Together we moved everything from a 4th floor walk-​up to a 5th floor walk-​up in no time. I’m pretty sure he had a smile on his face the whole time.
Rates are totally reasonable, and there aren’t any hidden fees or a 4-​hour minimum like you’ll find with most movers. If you’re moving a 1-​bedroom or less, this should be your go-​to service. I can’t recommend Dan enough.

This is Man with a Van/​gentleman with a van via email, manager’s name is Paul.
Couldn’t have asked for better service. The movers communicated well and call you 30 minutes before they arrive. They worked quickly and efficiently and were extremely helpful. I was grateful for their help moving out of my walk-​up building. They were polite and did not have any hidden charges. I called them on a Saturday to schedule a Wednesday move and they gladly accommodated my desired time. But I also intentionally moved out a week and a half before the month’s end to avoid end-​of-​the-​month traffic, but they seem very accommodating of all times and amount of notice.
I also moved into a co-​op with strict insurance rules, and they sorted that out in less than 24 hours. They are professional and know how to deal with this.
I highly recommend this company, and actually picked them from browsing Unilocal myself and seeing the prior excellent reviews. Just be sure to avoid the other company with the same name, apparently!

Dan was so awesome in helping me with my move. I had a last minute moving emergency and called the day before to see if he could help me out. He responded right away, great price, and moved my stuff from a 3rd floor walk up to a 4th floor walk up in another borough. Would definitely recommend. :)

Moved from a studio to another a few blocks down in UES. In the past I’ve hired moving companies & paid a ton more. So glad I came across reviews for this business & asked Dan for help. He made the whole process so smooth & was super efficient & friendly. Also, let me mention I lived in a 3rd floor walk up! So hard hard work for these guys. Would def recommend & would be happy to call them for future service

We were so impressed with the work Dan provided for our 2 day job.

It is hard to find a moving service that simultaneously offers friendly, efficient, and professional service at a reasonable price but, Dan fits all four criteria! Prior to the move, we discussed and then confirmed all of the details up front and the morning of moving day everything fell into place due to his professionalism and friendly personality. (I moved from Long Island in Nassau County to the Upper West side of Manhattan). He was prompt, and quickly loaded all of my boxes. Furthermore, he was careful, and did so strategically without throwing my possessions around. The lack of seats in the back provides ample space.
Once we arrived, I was a tad bit nervous that the asking price would change once the move was complete, but it remained the same as discussed. Honesty is important. His hefty tip was well deserved. I highly recommended Dan! :)

Dan came to the rescue when the movers I booked blew off the appointment. He showed up with one other guy within an hour and a half of me calling to help me with a small move from the village to Chelsea. His price was competitive and he worked as fast as possible finishing within the 2 hour minimum. He was pleasant and helpful. I would recommend him and use his services again for small within city moves.

Dan helped me with a small office move from Brooklyn to Midtown. I had a bunch of computers and monitors which he handled with great care. He was right on time, took his time to help me move stuff to and from the van (on a sweltering July day), and was an all around nice guy. He breaks the «cheap, fast, good… choose two» rule by managing to be all three.

I had some last-​minute issues with my previous mover so called Dan two days before I was scheduled to move, and he agreed to help me out. Dan helped me move from Brooklyn to the UWS. He was not only on time (the FIRST NYC van person who’s been on time!), but very courteous and handled all my belongings with care. His rates were better than most, as I was just moving a small bedroom’s worth of stuff. Other people quoted me higher rates without understanding what I had to move, and in the past I have had people quote one price and then tack stuff on. Dan stuck to his quote and was awesome! Call that guy!

I texted a few ads I saw on Craigslist and Dan called me right away for a very last min move. He didn’t have a 2 hr minimum and gave me a great price. He even helped take my bed apart and back together (which wasn’t in the initial deal)! Nice guy and reliable.
