For our business clients, we offer support for OS X Server, FileMaker Pro database development, workflow automation, and Peplink dual-​WAN router installation.

Meet the Business Owner

Daniel K.

Business Owner

Dan Kessler is MacMaven’s founder and principal consultant. He has been using Apple products since 1983 and fondly remembers reading his first programming book «Kids and the Apple II.»

Dan has over a decade of experience with information security and identity management. Prior to founding MacMaven Consulting, Dan was a vice president of information security at Morgan Stanley. He led distributed security for five years in Morgan Stanley’s global wealth management division. Most recently, Dan was Morgan Stanley’s lead data loss prevention engineer. He has also provided security consulting services at the IRS, JPMorgan Chase, and the World Bank.

Dan has helped many organizations with their Mac needs, such as Met Life, Steven Meisel Studio, ACM, the Cooper-​Hewitt Museum, the New York Public Library, and the Duke men’s basketball team.

Dan holds a BA in psychology from Brown University and an MS in medical informatics (medical information technology) from Duke University.
