Our vision for Le Chef Bleu is to provide you gourmet services in many different contexts. We are extremely knowledgeable about what makes a successful event, down to the last detail.
We can cater your office gatherings, gallery openings, concert receptions, holiday celebrations, birthday parties, graduations, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and wakes. We can set-up a kitchen anywhere, use your kitchen or use the venue’s facilities.
We are the perfect service provider for groups of 2 – 25 for dinner parties, buffets for 20 to over 100 persons, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for groups of 10 to 300+ people.
We can provide private chef services for a single romantic dinner for two or meals for a family for extended periods.
We also conduct cooking lessons for individuals and groups, either as a part of your event or as the main event. We also offer consulting services.
History
Established in 2010.
Le Chef Bleu LLC was formed on an outstanding, gastronomic Saturday night by four friends who share a passion for unique, artisan and natural foods from many different cultures. Every Saturday night since October 2008 we have come together to make «family meal «. «Family meal «is a time for us to try new recipes, share family recipes, experiment with new food products, celebrate and discuss social, cultural and cosmic events and our world travels.
We believe the high quality of our «family «productions and celebratory soirees can be shared professionally with those having similar passions, multi-cultural awareness and culinary curiosities. Not just because of our at-home history, but our experiences as chefs, artists, entrepreneurs and foodies.
Meet the Manager
Chef Pamela and Chef Laurent D.
Manager
Pamela is also a chef trained at The French Culinary Institute in NYC.
She may not be French, but she embraces French cuisine, as well as, many other types of cuisine.
Growing up in the Midwest in a fairly German community, she was encouraged by her parents to try new foods. She is an experienced catering chef working with international foods for events ranging from high profile charity events to private gatherings.
Laurent is a chef trained at The French Culinary Institute in New York City.
He is truly French, hailing from Normandy, and had been a resident of Paris for 15 years before moving to NYC. He has many years of experience in preparing and plating haute cuisine cocktail parties, dinners, buffet events and other receptions for international diplomats, consuls, ambassadors, heads of state, as well as, private citizens.
