Best kept secret in the Upper East side! Have been going to Kasia for 10 years now. Would not trust anyone else in New York to touch my face! She is beyond professional and extremely knowledgable.
In addition to facial care the spa offers manicures, pedicures, massages, acupuncture. Seriously look no further!

Kasia is amazing — I have been going to her for over 10 years, and followed her to two different salons before she opened up her own place. Her manicures and pedicures are the best in the city — I won’t even go to anyone else. She also does phenomenal facials and other skin treatments. She had been trying to convince me to try microdermabrasion for a few years but I was really hesitant. When I got engaged I decided to give it a try and she developed a treatment plan to get my skin ready for the wedding — I definitely noticed a big difference, and many friend and coworkers have noticed as well. I’ve even gotten a few compliments from total strangers on my skin when I wasn’t wearing any makeup at all. I can’t recommend Kasia highly enough.

A very good spa. I go to Gosia. Her facials are absolutely fantastic and she is such a nice person! She really knows her stuff and will advise you on your skin problems without pushing product on you like people do in so many other places. Even having gotten a great groupon price it didn’t make up for how bad the rest of the experience was.
First trying to make a reservation for a massage was a chore. They didnt have any openings in the evening or weekends for over a month. If you’re that busy why are you doing Groupons? So the day for my massage finally comes. Like several other reviewers I get there 10 min before my reservation but I’m not taken until 10 after and started 18 after. Then, the group on was for 60 min sweedish or deep tissue massage. I’m a massage addict and active weekend warrior, I know the difference and want/​need deep tissue. So she comes back to the room and I tell her I want the deep tissue and start telling her about my aches. She looks confused and asks to see the groupon. She then excuses herself to speak to the other masseuse. When she comes back she says fine and starts. She dims the lights and oils me up like a cheap salad. I’m like dripping with oil. I then get 40 min of neither Swedish nor deep tissue but more a light body rub.
When its done I’m so greasy I didnt want my clothes to touch me for fear of staining them, I wasnt relaxed, and my knots were all still there. There are too many inexpensive body rub places these days, I’ll not be going back to this one.

I’ve been a regular at Kasia’s since I moved to ny a couple of years ago. I loved the experience from the first time I went but I never got round to writing a review, because well, I always forgot. On seeing some of the negative reviews here I thought I should probably speak up because my experience has been completely different. I get regular facials here and she is the best! There are a lot of other places offering facials in fancy surroundings who will rub expensive cream into your face, but that’s not what I was looking for. I wanted someone who was knowledgeable on skin, and knew how to do a proper clean. Kasia most certainly was. I’ve also gone to Emily before when I wanted a last minute apt and Kasia wasn’t available and she was great too. The place is cute and clean, the people are friendly and the prices are reasonable. But most importantly they give amazing facials.

The massage I got from Dominika here was exactly awesome and great. She’s been very friendly and professional and the atmosphere and the music in the spa is very welcoming and relaxing. WIll definitely go there again!

This is the best place for a facial in the Upper East Side. I see the owner, Kasia, and she has made my skin transform over the past few years. She gives the most amazing shoulder and neck rub during the facial. All of their facials are affordable and I also do the micro derm. along with the skin peels. I would recommend making an appointment with Kasia.

Would mirror some of the concerns about the time spent on the massage (not quite the full hour), although not about the quality of it. The actual technique of the massage was fine and very relaxing overall. My problem spots are my shoulders, and the therapist did know how to work them so that they now feel relaxed and less tense than when I arrived. I felt at first that the massage was a little on the weak side but by the end I decided that she did have actually a nice style. The hot stone effects helped to relax my muscles as well. Would recommend as a fine local go to place if you live on the upper east side, but not a place where you would go great lengths to book an appointment.

Went with 2 friends for a 60 minutes massage. There we all had the same complaints.
1) We arrived at 12:55 for a 1:00pm appointment, the girl did not take us up to the room until 1:11pm, she stated the massage at 1:20pm and ended exactly at 2:00pm. So basically the «60-​minutes» massage was only 40 minutes.
2) To call what we recieved a massage was a joke. It was more of someone rubbing lotion on my body. The girl did not know where the musles were on the body, she did not even know how to do a proper should rub. I asked for more pressure since it felt like she was just applying lotion to my skin and she said OK but kept doing the same thing. My girlfriends said the same thing.
3) The place was badly run, it looked like the girls doing the mani-​pedi were also doing the massages and the receptions was also doing massages.
The girls were friendly but I would definitely not go back there. The massage was horrible and the cheat you on the time.

I have had many facials from different places in the past however none can ever compare to Kasias Facials!!! Kasia is a master of her craft! I had terrible acne, however after a few treatments, my skin cleared up. I don’t think I can trust anyone else to work on my skin. Now, the eyebrows, there is not threading here, just perfection! When I used to get my eyebrows done, I would ask for simple shaping and cleaning nothing drastic, yet I would leave looking like I had penciled them in with a sharpie. Thank goodness for Kasia! Her skilled hands and keen eye for perfection, left me with the eyebrows I was born to have, shaped, cleaned and not feminine, unlike some guys you see around, eek! So if you want serious and lasting results, look no further and make your appointment here!!!

I’ve been going to Kasia since 2006 and she is literally the only person who I trust to do my eyebrows. I’ve also done a variety of other treatments there, which are always great. The service is wonderful and her staff is very friendly and attentive.
Also, I saw the groupon offering and it was ONLY for Swedish massage, not deep-​tissue, ergo, less pressure. I’ve had deep-​tissue massages there after getting whiplash in a car accident and they were quite helpful; that person obviously tried to get more than what they paid for and does not realize how much groupon rips off businesses.

I’ve been a loyal patron of Kasia’s for over 10 years now, and I have to tell you, it’s one of the only places left in the city where you can get a good, old-​fashioned spa experience. The people are warm, the service is fantastic, and you don’t feel as though you’re being rushed in and out the way you tend to at a lot of the other places in Manhattan.
At Kasia’s you get amazing manicures and pedicures where they don’t cut your cuticles (because they’re knowledgeable enough to know that it’s horrible for you), they simply file them. They do impeccable waxing, amazing massages and reflexology, and give the best facials you’ll ever have.
They treat you like family, whether you’ve been there once or a thousand times.
I really, 100% strongly recommend that the people who gave negative reviews give Kasia another shot.

I also got a Groupon for a «Choice of 1-​Hour Deep-​Tissue or Swedish Massage with Aromatherapy and 45-​Minute European Mini-​Facial».
The place itself is very small, but cute. The girl at the desk, who also did both my treatments, didn’t have me fill out a questioner about skin type, injuries, etc that good spas will have you do. She also didn’t ask which massage I wanted and it did not include any aromatherapy. It was a weak massage, she didn’t really apply much pressure my muscles. The facial was okay. The girl said afterwards that I have very sensitive skin, which I believe to be the exact opposite of my skin.
I wouldn’t go back.

This place is a joke. I bought a deep-​tissue massage on Groupon and it was horrible. If I had to guess, the owner hired two young girls with no experience or training in massage to handle his Groupon customers. He probably paid them $ 10-​$ 15 per hour and banked the difference. Don’t go to this place, its a complete scam
