Julian was amazing! He was incredibly kind and fast. We chatted about how amazing Prince was (since he passed recently) and he finished notarizing my document in minutes. He really is available 24 hours, 7 days a week so you absolutely need to see him next time you need something notarized. I needed a document notarized on a Sunday and did a Google search to find someone who might be available. Julian was the first person who popped up and I was thrilled to discover he is based in Harlem in a convenient location, so it was super easy to get to him. I called him at 9:30 on Sunday morning and asked for an appointment before noon and we agreed on 11:30. I got there and he was waiting for me in the lobby. He handled things quickly, efficiently, and effectively. He also doesn’t charge a fee — he only accepted donations! That’s pretty awesome. He really came through in a pinch. I highly recommend him.

I love this service! My 1st time getting something notarized was with Ana. She was so friendly and professional. We had converations about the communtiy and she gave me some apartment hunting tips. This time I met with Julian. He was very understanding of the fact that I had made an appointment with the wrong people (I just remembered the building and not the phone number)!!! To say that this was an easy experience is an understatement. Surprisingly down to earth, professional gentleman who offers his services to the community for free, though you are allowed to make a donation if you see fit. We needed to have a document notarized which had both of our names on it — and that made the situation nearly impossible because my husband leaves for work at 7:00 a.m., and he returns home late and he commutes to a distant locale in NJ. We’d dealt with a succession of huge screw-​ups by the staff at a major branch of our bank (my updated review will follow) and we were therefore up against a looming deadline. A search of Unilocal led me to Julian Hill — and this is a perfect example of why I feel so strongly about taking the time to do reviews, because there are occasions when we’ve benefitted tremendously from Unilocal reviews and this was one of them.
My husband’s severe work schedule constraints coupled with our bank’s major screw-​up on Saturday meant that we needed a notary to come to our building before 7:00 a.m., either today or tomorrow. I phoned Julian yesterday and explained the situation, after which he readily agreed to meet us in our lobby by 6:50 a.m. today. He actually arrived way ahead of schedule, so we were rushing to get dressed. :) Naturally we paid a premium for this early-​morning and distant locale, but Julian really helped us out. In addition, he’s one of the friendliest and nicest people we’ve ever met.
