JJ Eyelashes – Soho

my lashes are WAY longer than i asked, i had to trim them myself because they looked soo cartoonish. As if that wasnt bad enough, they immediately started falling out with my real lashes about a day after application, something that has NEVER happened to me before– hopefully they will not cause long term growth damage but its still too early to tell. the ones that stayed on are crooked and misaligned, they look awful.

Nice place. Very expensive. I came for my first time thru groupon and they treated me as nice as a regular. They wanted me to leave a 20% tip. I guess this is normal I always do anyways. I will come back if they have another special again I just don’t feel like paying $ 200 for my eyes. Overall I was happy with the the outcome.

Had to wait 20 minutes for my appointment, they made me pay $ 30 removal fee even though I only had a few lashes, and now (4 weeks later) ALL my lashes are gone. I know this is «to be expecetd» but I have been to many other places where the lashes have lasted me 6 weeks or more!
The only redeeming feature was the foot massage!

A new expensive obsession. Love the quality of the lashes and the meticulous work. Lasted 4 weeks, including snorkeling and sun bathing/​lathering face with spf for 2 weeks at the beach on vacation. This review is only for the Soho location. Very clean and I’ll be back.

The customer service seriously is lacking here. You know how frustrating it is when you call in to make an appointment and no one answers the goddamn phone? And to leave a message, and wait for someone to call back… like hours later? Or a day later? I don’t have time to sit around waiting for my phone to ring. Seriously, if you’re that busy… hire more receptionists and add more lines to the phone!
I had bought a Gilt city voucher for a Ruby set. I think it was 80 lashes per eye or something. I called in a month prior to my actual appointment date. But I secretly wished I could’ve returned my voucher and asked for a refund.
I get a call like a week before my appointment and a male receptionist left a message on my phone saying that the person I requested went back to her country. Ughhhhh. Okay, I get it. Life happens… but when I returned my call to request someone else… it took over 2 days to get a confirmation because no one returned my call.
After all that, I had no choice but to just use my voucher. I don’t think I will be coming back here. My girl, Katie though… is a sweetheart. She definitely made me feel like a hundred bucks!

So far so good! I had a Diamond Set done last week and have been very happy so far. Often times, you can get a good sense of the longevity of the lashes the first few days. While I lost a handful early on (perhaps due to my own hand), I have been impressed by the fullness after a few days.
The salon is perfectly nice and inviting and the staff was great, too. Best of all, it was a relatively quick appointment — just under an hour — which is also a bonus.
I purchased a Gilt deal, so definitely feel I received great value. I am unsure if I’d pay full price simply because there are always great deals to be had in NYC.
Overall, a great experience!

I’m a big fan here. I had my first eyelash extension appointment yesterday evening. I was running a bit late (again, sorry guys) but my technician Claire politely got right down to business. She asked to do my consultation while I was taking off my coat and gave me options for both the style of the application and the length/​curl of the lashes. Once on the table I was offered options to add on a mani/​pedi and/​or (additional) massage while my lashes were installed. I opted for a 30-​min reflexology massage with Roy who did an excellent job.
The manager politely chided me for being late at the end of my session as I had held up the following guest’s appointment (my bad); however, she didn’t obstruct/​shorten my service or make a big deal during the session which I found very professional and respectful.
Great job guys!

I’ve been a regular customer of JJ Lashes for quite some time now and I’ve been so thankful for them! It’s always a pleasure seeing visiting salon. The SoHo Spa is very chic, clean, beautiful and with a relaxing music playlist playing in the background. The services are superb. The lashes quality are top notch at JJ Lashes. I highly recommend this SpA to all of my friends and family. The staff is always very professional and accommodating. All of my visits are with Phurwa (@SoHo) and she does a fabulous job! I’m ALWAYS so pleased with the with her commitment to professionalism. She is such a sweet person and will give you the right recommendations needed for the best lash look.

My definite «go to» place for lashes for the past 3 years. I’ve been to a number of places, both in California and New York, and Jj is hands down. the best!
Natural, long-​standing lashes and great service.
On top of that, they offer the best mini foot massage while you’re getting your lashes done, too! On days I really want to splurge and feel like a princess, I will get my lashes, nails, and foot massage done all at once! Highly recommend!

I came here at the last minute — my regular appointment fell through and I had a wedding to attend the upcoming weekend and a flight to catch later that afternoon. I looked on Groupon for a discount since it was my first time but they were only offering a special at the midtown location, which didn’t have appointments available. I asked about any specials for new customers when I arrived, but they offered none.
I got the 80-​lash option, which all in all ended up costing over $ 180. The application was done well and the foot massage was a nice bonus, but $ 180 for 80 lashes is ridiculous. I usually don’t do more than 90 lashes (I like an enhanced natural look) but 80 lashes looked stingy — my lashes looked like they usually do after a week. The other two places I usually go are $ 90-​$ 100 for 90+ lashes. The lashes are very resilient — they haven’t noticeably shed in nearly a week — but these prices are ridiculous. Not worth it.

I went to this place before and had a pretty good experience so when I see them having gilt city coupon I got one. It turns out that the girl city coupon is only for another of their location which has many poor reviews. I know it’s my fault for not reading the coupon correctly but since they are still one company i called to see if I can use the dollar amount I spent on the gilt at their location and happy for forfeit the coupon value. I explained that the only reason I bought the coupon is because I had a good experience with them the previous time. The receptionist is very rude and not helpful at all. The quality of service is one thing and customer service is another. Sufficient to say I won’t got back

Love this place! I’ve been here 3 times now, twice for refills and love the way my lashes look. Everyone here is so nice, and it’s great that you can get a mani, pedi, or massage while getting your lashes done at the same time. Hurray for multitasking! I love getting the extra foot massage here, takes my mind off the eyelash treatment which at times can tickle or pinch a bit, but otherwise it is pretty relaxing and an hour later my lashes are looking amazing.
I also appreciate the ease of booking online through their website, however I still really can’t figure out the name of my actual lash technician. Twice I’ve booked with «Olivia» only to be treated by «Katie.» Then I booked with «Katie» and got «Olivia!» Either way they were both great!

Best eyelash extensions in NYC. I can’t even begin to tell you how many compliments I’ve received on my new lashes and they look completely natural! They also give a great complimentary foot massage which makes this normally lengthy experience so enjoyable. Customer service is also great!

Today was my second visit to JJ, and I’ve enjoyed both visits. The lash application was thorough and relaxing, and I enjoyed the complimentary leg/​foot massage. The salon is very clean and the location is close to my workplace. My technician, Marie, was extremely thorough, professional, and had a gentle touch. My appointment took about 50 minutes, and my lashes looked great afterwards.
After my first visit, I had a few lashes fall out immediately and noticed that my lashes didn’t extend all the way to the edge of my left eye. I called JJ, and they responded quickly. They expressed their apologies and invited me back for a quick fix with the same technician. I appreciated that! My lashes lasted about 4 weeks.
I would highly recommend to anyone!

Eyelash extensions are my new expensive addiction. After going to several places in the past year, JJ lashes stood out– particularly, the service and quality of the products and experience. I purchased a Groupon deal (3 sets for $ 165), and had to pay approx $ 15 in taxes and then a minimum of 15% gratuitiy on the original price ($ 150 per set) so this was still around $ 90-​$ 100+ even with the discount.
I booked my appointment and arrived 10 minutes early. I wasn’t able to be seen until around 6:15pm. The establishment looks very contemporary and clean, definitely not a ‘no frills’ cheap place. Once the technician greeted me, it cleared my anxiety as she was very soft-​spoken and kind. She walked me through their product options and made helpful suggestions. I usually go for the natural look but she recommended I do the ‘C’ curl which is more of a curl and boy did it make a difference! I opted for the natural shape though instead of the cateye which is even more dramatic.
I was instructed to take off my shoes and socks and rest on the bed. The technician (forgot her name :() was gentle and articulate during the hour long session. I definitely took a good nap. Towards the final 10 minutes or so, I received a complimentary foot massage by the masseuse. It was AMAZING and so relaxing.
I highly recommend coming here but it’s definitely a splurge. It’s been about 3 weeks and I still have some lashes in tact but definitely not as full as the first week (no surprise as I need a refill). Ladies, do yourself a favor and come here to have a great look for the summer without having to pack on the make up! I received numerous compliments from friends and colleagues afterwards ;)

Halunia is really sweet, awesome and extremely helpful. In my time there I have had a lot of super-​fantab-​lash-​ulous technicians. Big shout-​out to all my lash-​techs that continue to make me feel fab. They are ALL a whole lot of awsome sauce.

FANTASTIC LOCATION. Have been here twice in last month, got Diamond set C curl with mixed 12−13−14 and the results are PERFECTION! Place is very lovely, clean and they give you the most amazing COMPLIMENTARY foot massage during the lash treatment. I got the groupon deal 3 sets and I’m glad I did! Just had to pay extra $ 30 for upgrade to diamond set. My pictures do no justice to lashes. My tech was Olivia. She’s amazing and thorough. Worth every penny!

I’ve been going to JJ Lashes in Soho for a year now. I love the fact that I wake up every morning reach to go, only applying lip gloss. With lashes, there’s no need for eye make up as they make them pop.
I occasionally have them removed if I’m going on a scuba diving vacation, etc. My natural lashes are all there. The false lashes fall out with my real ones.
The process of getting the lashes is very relaxing. It takes about an hour for my two week refill and they give you a complimentary foot massage. I usually have my disco nap.
I highly recommend JJ lashes if you want a natural look and your eyes to really shine!! They’re long lasting with proper care.

I had no issue using the Groupon deal at this location. $ 69 for a set of 80 lashes each eye. The lashes are softer and better looking than G-​lash, so I prefer here.
I just bought another set of 3 Ruby eyelash extensions on Groupon for $ 175. What an expensive new addiction!

JJ eyelashes was recommended to me by a friend. My technician was very careful and took her time with applying each lash on me. Not only is it super relaxing, you also get a foot massage!
