Description

Specialties

As a Certified Advanced Rolfer with 20 years of experience, I offer you the best in helping you to achieve a body that works better, lives better and plays better. My one man operation on the Upper West Side offers a comfortable, creative space — with old world charm — for your well being. My hands-on work of body manipulation is precise and enters the realm of not only physical enlightenment but also emotional as I help you link together the multiple aspects of your body. Please join me in an adventure sure to bring you into a new way of being.

Rolfing® is a systematic, hands-on approach created to balance the body around alignment and movement. Rolfing has been responsible for getting bodies all over the world out of pain and into balance.

With the use of my hands and instruction on movement patterns, I will help bring you back to balanced alignment in a way that will also help to relieve aches and pains.

History

Established in 1994.

1994 to present: Full time private practice as a Certified Advanced Rolfer. From 1994 — 2004 I had a private Rolfing practice in Seattle, WA. I moved to New York City in 2004 and have been in private practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan ever since.

In addition to Rolfing, I am also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (established in 2011) as well as a Source Point Practitioner (2013 to present).

More historically, I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Landscape Architecture (UC Davis 1981) and a Masters of Architecture (U of Washington, Seattle 1990).

Business Owner

I have been a Certified Advanced Rolfer since 1994. Prior, I was in the field of Architecture with a bachelors in Landscape Architecture (1981) and a Masters in Architecture (1990). My path towards our bodies and body health has been in place now for over 20 years. I still have a lot of interest in the art and architectural world, but my main work and emphasis in life settles around how to get the most out of our life — physically and emotionally/spiritually. While the art feeds this body, having a high functioning body helps to enjoy this life all the more. The two go hand in hand and I’m here to help you make the connection
