This place is wonderful. Very clean and the nicest, warmest ladies I had a great manicure, pedicure and massage. All for $ 72 Very professional and quiet. Can’t wait to come back. Kwinny was amazing. But so are the others.

Great neighborhood spot! Good specials during the week for mani/pedi. Not the most glamorous salon, but they get the job done!

I went here for the first time about a week ago and I loved it. I also love how secluded this place is. They do a great job and everything is done quickly. Will be going back again.

Worst experience ever! DONOTGOHERE! I went with a friend and she got okay service and I got horrible service! An Asian women with red dyed hair and glasses, DONT have her do your nails. She was the rudest person I have ever encountered. She was rough and did the sloppiest job. She did two coats on one hand and 3 on the other(it was a super light color). I had to pull my hand away so she can even them out before she put the top coat on. She was rushing me and I had to fight for what I wanted she was also complaining about me and pointing at me in mandarin. This is usually my way to relax and I was just more stressed and I paid for something I could easily do myself. Also I’m not sure they clean there utensils. And uses it from customer to customer.

I’ve been coming here for about 2 years now at least when im home from being away at school. But i’ve never had any issue with this salons. The workers are very sweet. I like their color selection and my nails haven’t chipped or anything like that. I don’t use gel nail polish so i don’t have that issue that most people have when it comes to gel. Definitely recommend to anyone. Also a pro is that in the winter they keep it nice and warm i’ve been in salon where its freezing so thats nice to know.

I have had a love hate relationship with this place. Sometimes it was great and sometimes average. I used to come for most of my mani/pedis and them stopped coming for a while since I started working downtown and like something close to work. Anyway, I came back in a pinch this week after almost a year and got a shellac manicure and a 20 minute chair massage. I don’t get chair massages that often but this one was pretty decent. Anyway, 3 days later my SHELLAC manicure started to chip. Seriously? I went back today(day 4) with almost half of one nail peeled off. I asked them to redo that one and apply the shellac top coat to all my nails. They didn’t charge me and was cool about it. However, just 6 hours later, another chip has appeared. I’m done!

I live in close proximity to Jaj’s Nails & Spa and even though I’ve been going to them for as long as they’ve been open for manicures, all it takes it one bad experience to never go back. I had such an experience over the 2013 Holiday Season and such a disappointment in how they chose to treat me – especially to a long time loyal customer, such as myself. They are nail salons on every corner of Manhattan — it’s time I tried another one.

I liked this place the first time I got a pedicure, it was normal, clean and they got the job done. However I went back for a second time and had a different lady and this time she put«callus softener» on my feet. Nothing during the pedicure was any different except for this one product(which may I add, I have at home and it doesn’t do much). When it came time to pay she charged me a WHOPPING $ 16 extra for this«special gel». I told her she should have told me and nowhere on their price list is there a pedicure marked $ 38. There is a regular pedicure($ 22) or spa pedicure($ 52). After I was furious that she tried to rip me off I decided to tip VERY low. I usually ALWAYS give 20% tip at the least, no matter what. But I was genuinely pissed so I gave a $ 2 tip. She was not happy with me and told me tips are 20% and my response is NO, tips are OPTIONAL. Be careful WHEREVER you go to get your nails done in NYC, because clearly they can charge whatever they want even if they don’t do anything more. I will not return because this woman ripped me off, which is sad because I didn’t have a problem during my previous experience.

Worst nail experience I’ve ever had! I asked if they do pink and white gel and after a few mins of talking to each other in Chinese they say they do. I should have known to walk out then but I stayed thinking how can they say they do it when they have no idea what they’re doing. 4.5 hours later I have raised THICK white lines that are supposed to be the white lines of my French manicure. And the worst part about it is even after over 4 hours it was still wet when the whole point of is it is supposed to dry in a matter of a few minutes!. I had to go to another nail salon to pay to have it removed. Also their manicure pedicure special during the week isn’t even a good deal. They’re overpriced and their service is horrible.
