Greatly overpriced lunch buffet. $ 21/salad bar with additional charge for iced tea etc. the salad bar Was decent but grossly out of touch with some local alternatives. Had we not already sat down for a business meeting we wouldn’t have eaten there. There are 100 spots within a few blocks so use Unilocal and avoid. I call BS on some of the reviews and reviewers like Yasmin G as to their impartiality. I gave it two stars and not one because I’m trying to be nicer and more spiritual.

It was pouring down rain when I got off the subway at my hotel(the Sheraton, where Hudson Market is located), and decided to eat at the hotel, which I normally do not do. The food was great, the service was impeccable, and I will be back again on my next visit to NYC.

Terrible. Avoid at all cost. There are so many good options in the area. It is very expensive and low quality.

Can’t even review the food because the bad service is all I can focus my attention on. What’s worse is that hotel management clearly either a) doesn’t care, or b) doesn’t check Unilocal, because we’ve been coming here for years and the service has NEVER improved. What a waste of space in the Sheraton, just rent the space out to a Chipotle or another Ray’s Pizza to get some actual traffic in this place!

This place is overpriced with a really small menu and unfriendly staff. It’s inside the Sheraton. That is your first clue that it’s not what you’re looking for. Or at least it should be. Soooooooo disappointed. Blue burger was decent but nothing to write home about. Save your money. This place is for guests who don’t want to venture out. We came a long way and made a reservation and regretted the wasted calories. It’s not bad food, it’s just NOT good food.

Not good. Expensive breakfast buffet(north of $ 30) for limited options. Some interesting selections but at 8am in the morning had the taste and feel of last night leftovers. Oddly, they handed me a menu when I walked in the door but it only outlined what was in the buffet and the dining options i.e., full buffet including the hot stuff or a continental selection. Be forewarned, there are no other menu selections so if you just want a bowl of oatmeal or an omelette, you’re out of luck. The Sheraton is 3 blocks north of Times Square on busy 7th avenue. There are a number of places to eat within walking distance including a relatively nice deli no more than 100 yards across from the front door of the building. This will save you money and increase your dining satisfaction. The only thing this place has going for it is convenience.

Overpriced breakfast, overcooked eggs. Friendly staff. Buffet was very limited.

Can’t believe more people haven’t rated this place! We really felt like eating a charbroiled/grilled burger, which is definitely Hudson Market Burger’s specialty(that and it doesn’t really sell anything else around dinner time). Surprisingly, it was almost entirely empty at about 7 pm, so we were seated immediately and served quickly. We ordered: 1) Crabby Patty(it was this or «The Fat Duck.» The waiter said the duck burger was a big man burger though, so probably wouldn’t be able to handle(sadly)) — came with crab meat patty, «red pepper remoulade,» and fried onions. Initially good but eventually a little sickening… could’ve been the richness of the remoulade and fried onions together. Not a personal favorite, but not too much of a crab/fried onions person either. It depends on what you like and if you’re feeling spongebob-ish. 2) Plain Jane, no cheese & no onions — really enjoyed it. Simple but delicious. Both burgers came with a giant, extremely fresh«pickle» that was basically a salted cucumber. Not a bad thing, but different. There was also a generous serving of fries, all for $ 16. Good burger place to try for sure, especially if you’re looking for someplace more quiet.

Last Saturday, virtually stumbled upon this place. A party of 8 of us had gone out for a birthday dinner, but the original restaurant we went to was way too small(they gave us a table that realistically sat 4, for 8 – 10 people!). So a friend used Open Table and found this place, Hudson Market Burger. On a Friday night at about 8pm, kind of surprised to find a restaurant that took take 8 people on the fly. Tucked inside the Sheraton Hotel, the place accommodated us just fine. It was sort of an upscale feeling restaurant(for a «burger» place) inside the Sheraton, so I’m not sure it was mean for 825 – 33 year-olds who had just enjoyed a few Happy Hour specials throughout Hell’s Kitchen. To me, the atmosphere screamed traditional and boring, but again, beggers can’t be choosers. The service was outstanding. We asked for 6 checks among us, and they did so with no problem. The waitress was friendly and accomodating, and the food came out fast. The burger I got was really good, and I love burgers! Finding a good burger can be a challenge, and that said, I’ve also had some outstanding burgers in NYC and Boston. This burger definitely made the top 5. The burger was $ 16 I believe; although we all got different burgers with different toppings, they were all the same price. I also got parmasian fries. They were very good, although I do think they were only warm, maybe sitting for a bit. Overall, I definitely recommend it. And I think being inside the Sheraton, there wouldn’t be a lot of street traffic to the place. Again, we only found it because of a friend’s Open Table app on his phone.

We ate here because it was ½ off other wise way over priced. But the fruit selections were fresh and abundant. Croissants, smoothies all really good.

This is the in-house restaurant at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers. While the Sheraton itself is an ok hotel, this restaurant within is an utter ripoff. The breakfast buffet was $ 27(to be expected at a hotel), but it was the weakest expensive hotel buffet I’ve ever seen. Even the scrambled eggs were poor(I’ll bet they buy buckets of pre-scrambled eggs). The brown sugar at the cereal station was a kind of gross lumps that you couldn’t even smash apart with the serving spoon — It seemed like that sugar was years old and no one changes it and therefor no one uses it. The place was filled with business travelers who are only willing to eat such crappy food because they eat free(Their company pays the bill) and they are too tired or lazy to walk a block or two to better food at half the price.
